  • I was surprised the Aero Fighters lot went for around the same price as some of the others??? Tad low no?

  • Can you break down approx. values in that Aerofighters lot? As I recall Brinn's Aerofighters went for about $600, so what about the remainder? I'm not getting that number image
  • All I have to say is anyone who is planning on bidding on the NES lots better have a TON of cash to burn. They will be CRAZY,I cant wait!!
  • Wow, $27,125.21 as of right now (total on all lots), with 11 big lots left... this'll break 40K easily.
  • these were the cheap auctions lol....Monday is gonna be nuts.
  • I think they will clear $50K EASY.
  • I bought Brinn's Aero Fighters and it was around $750 and damaged. it is not a perfect copy.

  • the real money is yet to come, we all know that..
  • I'd love to some breakdowns of these lots. Most of the prices make no sense.
  • Wow that's a lot of money. The NES lots and FFG snes lots will be spectacular.
  • Well, my $800 GB snipes all were too low, image
  • Lollerskates to everyone that thought $15 for boxed and sealed Game Boy games each was too much when I was selling them. And even more lollerskates to people not thinking FFG will go over $4000
  • Yeah, final fight guy WILL go way over $4000. If it goes under $7000, I will be amazed.
  • lollerskates! HA!
  • i can't wait to list my sealed gb stuff...yumm....

I expected the SNES lots to go higher and the GB lots to go a little lower.

pshaw, why would I be upset sara.   Thanks for trying but these prices are more than I'd wanna pay anyway.  pretty strong results all around.

I dont understand this. People have said there are collectors willing to go over $10K, Sara mentions $4k-$7k, yet NO on has offered me more than $1500 for my copy and I have had my copy since last summer.

The collectors who are supposedly going in at $10K were not willing to go over $1K for my copy and it is in better condition.

    Just some thoughts.

I think bidders just get caught up in the sheer amazement of the auction and that in turn makes them sell for a highr price. Add in that there straight from Nintendo and there you go.   " So much sealed stuff at once!" " This will never come along again!" "My friends will think I'm so cool!"                      LOL                      Stuff like that.
  • yeah, i think you are right. And the fact that everyone on all the forums are going:

    $10k! $10! $10K!

     but...

someone else has to have games straight from Nintendo don't they?

someone has to think these might come along again, right?

someone has to realize their friends will think they are border line retarded. (but who cares)

  • I would have paid the 1k for yours, but I never knew it was for sale.
  • Maximus Clean, you said FFGUY was basically on hold for Bronty. I would have beaten that offer, not an issue. I just respected that stance on the Final Fight Guy basically said it was his....

With that said, I STILL WANT IT, but I'm not bidding retarded money on eBay for this lot.

    True.

Im just saying - that hasn't stopped anyone from sending an email before.

I received several, not from you Dream, and they were a joke. You were the only one that never gave a $ figure. and for the reason you said above.

  • Maximus: Yep, and I won't until you say Bronty does not want it, that's a respect for it being on hold issue in my eyes. If you want me to make an offer, and Bronty is ok with that, I will do so.

And also, unlike a lot of other people, I always offer pretty good prices and try not to lowball. I mean, I know there are a lot of resellers on here, but when I sell stuff, my prices are more than reasonable, and I get lowballed a TON.

  • yeah, i still think you are missing what i am trying to say. it has nothing to do with you or bronty (which has dibs). I will leave it at that.

  • I made you a $1500 offer on it before anyone saw it (and I thought we even had a deal on it. I think this was even before bronty saw it). I had really no clue what it was at the time, I don't know if anyone did really. No offense, but I didn't know what the heck to think about it at the time.

After kind of realizing it was legit etc, I would have offered you a LOT more than that for it.

You made it seem like it was not for sale, so I never made a serious offer on it after that first transaction with us. I also wanted the Fun N Games and the Super Copa, but I never made an offer on those either because you made it seem like they were not for sale.

You can't expect people to make offers on something they think is not for sale.
  • sara, you too seem to be missing the point of what i was trying to say.

People hear about things all the time and send people an email to enquire. Some emails are very blunt and simply say "I heard you have this game, i will pay $XXX"

i am obviously not referring to you or dream. If i was, i would have said people fom NA were interested but i told them they were not for sale.

Sara, also, i had a feeling most people weren't sure mine was legit, that is more of the answer i was thinking of, not the "i didn't want to step on Bronty's toes angle" because that is implied in our community.

Bronty knew about the game before anyone. He came to my house just days after i got them and schooled me on everything. He explained more than i could have asked and inturn told him he had dibs on anything he wanted.

  • I do understand what you meant now.

Honestly, I am kind of surprised Pooch never went after it STRONGLY beforehand.

Did not realize about Bronty. I am sure once you realized what you had, you probably just about had a heart attack image

Even then, I am sure you never realized what your auctions would pull on ebay. Who could have? Crazy stuff.
  • I had never seen the game before, but no doubt in my mind that it was legit. =) Good luck to everyone bidding on it, I think I bought too many pinball machines to compete!

no, i had a heart attack before Bronty came over. I had another heart attack when he told me what he wanted and what they were worth.

So let's recap. I am 25 and I have had 2 heart attacks I am aware of ;-)

god damn, maximus! you are only 25? do you have your own house or is that the basement of your parents house in those pictures of your collection? i am 25 too, and not only do i not have the amount of games you do (although i have more cib games i think), i dont have a place that even closely resembles the awesomeness of that room. and with this bullshit economy, i will probably only get a shitty 8% raise this year, so i wont reach 6 figs for another few years... looks like it will be a while before i can get my own house and put a kick ass game room in it like yours!
