I am not buying my account was hacked crapped...seems WAY to convenient......Really sucks that it happened though. This is why companies don't do this sort of thing more often because it ends up being suck a hassle for them. I think it is very cool that you have stuck with this for so long NOCL.
IF there was funny business going on in regards to the "hacked" account, then that is really as low as it gets. If you're so desperate to add to your collection that you're going to tamper with a fucking charity auction, you REALLY need to reevaluate your priorities.
well, I don't know that happycaster and wasibaisi are the same person, but here's my question. If Happycaster's account is Pooch's, what's the odds that the account is hacked and just happened to bid on lots that she was planning on bidding on anyway?

Im wondering the same thing. Isnt it a little funny that she is a huge NES collector and whoever hacked the account just happened to bid on NES games let alone the biggest NES auction ever?! What are the odds of that?
When someone has their account hacked what are the odds the hacker will bid on the exact same thing that the "victim" is interested in anyway?
hacker -> Hmm this buyer has a history of bidding on sealed NES games. Let's find the rarest we can and bid for them.
innocent gamer -> Hey look at that someone hacked my account and bid on sealed NES games for me. You know if the prices weren't so high I might have just paid for them anyway.
Shouldn't there be some gay magazines, a 911 Porche and a crate of dildos on items this user won?
I've had hacked accounts bid on my stuff and when legit I make the buyer reply to ebay who pulls the auction. The buyer is never a game collector and has no idea why anyone would want a 10 year old game for more than $5.

I agree completely. No way was this account actually hacked.
LOL... dude why would you put this out there for all to see when everyone knows I bid on stuff for you when they won't ship to Canada? Sheesh... what's your wife gonna say? I guess maybe... THANK YOU! LMAO

We both know she's gotta be entertained when you aren't around!
It's definitely bullshit. She had to get in over her head. Must have been too excited about it, then realized she could not afford all those auctions, because as Buyatari said, when an account is "hacked", they don't bid on items that are from the normal buying tastes. ESPECIALLY if they were SNIPED and near the end, COME ON.
I think she sniped like $100,000.00$ on each auction she wanted just to make sure she was the high bidder, and when the auctions ended seriously high she decided to make up some BS story.

If that's the case, then that screws up second chance offers :-\
I'm glad there are people crying foul on this. When I was thinking about it last night, I was thinking in terms of "innocent until proven guilty", but fuck that. The kind of greed it takes to over extend yourself like this and then screw up a charity auction is beyond disgusting.
Still no reply from ebay but they're investigating. Similarly, no replies to any emails from either 'happycstar' or 'wasabisabi'. Each of these auctions is going to be re-listed (once I hear back from ebay) as I don't want to have to pay their fees twice. I agree that high bids from this buyer would have driven the other competing bids artificially high and therefore it is unfair to solicit sales at these prices. Is anyone aware of any other ebay ID's belonging to this person? I'll adjust my blocked list accordingly.
I feel bad for you , not really being an experienced ebay'er and having to deal with all this crap. I hope this doesn't put you off in the future about doing this again. I think it's be a great thing with these games becoming available to collectors and your charity getting quite a hefty donation. Also, I know you may not be a collector or anything, but even after these auctions are over, I don't think I'd be alone in saying, it'd be nice to have you stick around the boards from time to time.
I really feel bad for Nintendo of canada. In the end, they get really nothing and all this just goes straight to charity. First they had to deal with ebay taking down their auctions and now this.
Just keep in mind that this really is not customary for auctions. This truly is quite rare to have so many problems involving so few transactions.
I agree with relisting them if wasabi does not contact you incredibly soon. It is not fair to myself or others to send second chance offers as the auction would not have gone as high without wasabi bidding.
I feel really bad for the winner of auction 4. there is no possible way that lot was worth so much and the only reason it went so high is because of the underbid by (I assume based on the feedback) wasabi, who apparently had no intentions of honoring their bid.
This really is a mess like I have never encountered in all my time on ebay. I really do feel terrible for nintendo of canada in all of this.
I watched these auctions and all I have to say is WOW. I really don't understand how people can spend money like that on something that will never be played. I understand to a point but these prices are insane. Correct me if I'm wrong (but after reading this thread, I doubt I am), but these games aren't worth that much so it's a waste of money in my books. Pay what they are worth and that's fine. This just wows me. On top of that, the no paying bidders. Guess this is why I've stayed away from ebay for so long. Don't want to run into hassles like this. I think I will try out gamegavel and chasethechuckwagon though
EDIT: Btw, I was just stating my opinion. I know I'm pretty much new at all this. I just feel really sorry for nocl for having to deal with all this when it should have been an easy transaction :-/

Actually, I think you are wrong. Or, at least misled. Some of the games in these lots are some of the hardest to find titles for their system and are considered REALLY rare by many collectors.

beyond high
Lot 1 went slightly low, the other 3 lots went very high.
Ok, thanks for the info!

I see you've been looking at Braveheart's buying account again...

Well I could only raise you a Quizno's cause we don't have Jimmy John's here and I hate Subway!
Ah Jimmy Johns... Is there anything better than the Beach Club? I think not.

I can think of three things:
1) The Hunters Club
2) The Lulu Club
3) Boobies
