Collection viewcount?

I was checking out my NA collections today and noticed there is a number of "views" listed for each collection.  I'm guessing this is how many times the page has been visited?  Anyway, my NES collection clocked in at over 3,000 views.  WOW!  I have a hard time believing that, but I then assumed most of the views were from ME, updating it over the years probably added a lot of views, right?



But then I checked out my GBA collection.  I generated it a year ago and haven't touched it, but it has 723 views.  Have 700+ people really been interested in my generic collection with 0 items?  Or am I missing something here?

    I've got a little over 2600 views for my N64 collection. All the rest of my collections are around the 300-500 mark. But my TG16 collection is lagging in the group with a little over 200 views.

    My nes collection has 1122 views, n64 has 1161, 360 is at 955. even my Virtual Boy collection(1 game) has 1506 views.

    I have over 900 views of my NES collection, and I have only ever had four games entered.
