Hi, everyone. My name is Slava. One very nice person (SwordLess Link) introduced me to this website. I've been collecting for over a year various gaming systems. Currently focused on Nintendo Gamecube.
I live in US, but originally from Russia...grew up on Sega Mega Drive 2, NES (Japanise Famicon) and PS1. In Russia Super Nintendo was very rare, and games were almost impossible to find. I personally played only The Mask on SNES in Russia. N64 I never even heard about untill I visited England, and my friends in Russian didn't believe me after that 3D graphics like PS1 are possible on cartridges
My all time favorite console is Sega Mega Drive (US Genesis) - Games MK 3 Ulti, Shining Force 1-3, Phantasy Star 1-3, Wonderboy in Monster World.
My all time favorite NES (Japanese Famicon) games are - #1 Duck Tales 1-2! ! ! #2 TMNT 2-3!!! #3 Battletoads (took me 1.5 year as kid to beat it, later me and my buddy beat it in 2 player mode, but noone ever beleived us) Too bad Zelda games never made their way to Russia. I only remember once I got 1st Zelda from someone put it in my console and coudn't understand anything because of Japanese, I thought to myself "what a garbage game"
