BusDriverJs Goodwill/Thrift Store Finds

Ive decided to make this my Goodwill/Thrift store thread. Ive made a couple threads in the past and now for a "permenant" one.

So I go to this one Goodwill by my work regularly, as in at least twice a week. This is my best find and Im very happy about it. Well, Im mainly happy happy about the one game but to find 13 carts at once is good. Nine were dups for me with 6 being upgrades. I got them all for $2.92 ea, roughly $40 for the lot I know its crazy for a collector to pay $3 for SMB/Ducks but why not get them all if I can?

AND, come to find out Wrecking Crew is a Fami-convertor cart!! Awesome!

They are all in great shape too. No real damage except for a few label nicks. And yes, BM2 is for trade if anyone is intersted, Im looking for N64 carts

  • Got these for #3.99 each. Tried talking them down to $2 but $4 is better than the original $5 they were asking

  • Nothing special but this is my first overly large display item. I stopped by GS to preorder GTA 5 and to get the poster (pictured below as well). Of course I had to swing by the back of the store and found this thing. Its friggin huge, like 5 feet plus. It was assembled (as pictured) but I dont have an SUV anymore so I had to quickly break it down before an employee came out. Got it home and reassembled it. If only it were a Wii kiosk...

Pardon my messy game room, I havent had time to reorganize it in a while.

  • Picked all this up yesterday. I made a thread inquiring about the 3DO stuff so now Ill just post pictures.

I was a big Onyx fan back in the day so I couldnt pass up the 12" single. I found a cassette single for Slam not too long ago so I guess Ive started an Onyx single collection, lol.

The PS1 Jap game is Cowboy Bebop. Sealed too. I dont know anything about Jap games except for Virtual Boy stuff. I paid $5 for it so I dont even know if it was a good buy or not (being sealed Id imagine i didnt do bad on it)

Scooby Doo for GBC is CIB. Paid $5 for it too, nothing special.

The LaserDisc player is my favorite find of the last few months. Ive been looking for one of these for about a year now. I cant tell you how many 5 disc DVD/CD players Ive looked at hoping it was a LD players. Persistence was the key and I got this one for $16 at Goodwill. Im finally able to watch some classics on a dead format.

Speaking of dead formats, I also snagged 3 more HD-DVDs for my collection. Dazed and Confused, Adventures of Robin Hood, and Hot Fuzz. No pics of them though.

  • Nothing too exciting this time but I filled some holes and got a good deal.

What I assume to be a GBA carrying case $1.51 GW

Tom Clancy Strat guide $1.51 GW

GBC with M&M game AND good batteries (lol) $4.94 GW

    Coneheads Laserdisc Sealed! $2.93 GW

Roadster and Tarzan $5 ea Play N Trade

    Wheel of Fortune $3 PNT

    Soul Calibur $4.20 PNT

The Soul Calibur was the deal seeing that they are easily in the low mid teens on eBay. Im very slowly working on my DC collection cause Ive recently been finding them everywhere (usually sports titles though)

  • Got these Gamecube NBA Courtside 2002 Party lights for $4.50 total, they were half off.
