  • Some of you already saw this on teh Facebooks today but I released a new video. If you're at all into Final Fantasy, this is a game you should check out:

  • Did a gameplay video with a crappy history rundown on the DKC comp cart
  • My best friend came to town and we chuckled through a few levels of Gauntlet for the NES! Check it out on this week's D-plays!

  • Episode 57 of The Old Ass Retro Gamer features a different kind of review... A BOOK! OMFGTISDLOARG! Wait, wait. Calm down. The book is "Classic Home Video Games, 1989-1990" by author and fellow gamer Brett Weiss and published by McFarland. What secrets does it hold about the Sega Genesis, Neo Geo and TurboGrafx-16? Is it worth the read? Can I use it to defend myself like Jason Bourne?

Please subscribe to the channel, comment, share and give the video a thumbs up. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

  • Hot off the presses! Check out my brand spankin' new variety segment: D-Pad Danny Does. Each episode will look at a handful of games fitting a specific theme. This time around I'm talking about Non-Space Shooters!

  • Nostalgic Finds: February 2016

Roe finds a couple of awesome titles for the Genesis, and adds to the PlayStation collection.

  • New D-plays! This week I play through Kirby's Dreamland for the Game Boy!

  • Cygnus Destroyer takes a look at some Contra ROM hacks that put the Hard in Hard Corps. Thanks for watching

  • The first, and very likely last, time we finish a game from start to finish during an episode

  • Me and a buddy playing Contra terribly and laughing about chewing tobacco.

  • Got a new one. And, folks, I will be at MAGFest this weekend, so if you see me, say what's up!
  • I decided to do something a little goofy for Valentine's Day but then missed it by 4 days.

  • The newest episode of The Old Ass Retro Gamer is here!!! "Recent Pick-Ups #21, Part 1: I Am A Hoarder" is now available to watch on the YouTube Channel and is all about the newest games Chris has added to his ever growing collection over the past few months. Consoles covered range from the Atari 2600 to the Nintendo GameCube. What did he find...?

Please subscribe to the channel, leave a comment, give the video a thumbs up and share it on social media. Thanks for watching!
  • New episode of D-Plays! This week I play some of The Legendary Axe on the Turbo Grafx 16!

  • Hey everyone back again showing off a collection of (what I think) 20 great master system games (yes I know this is mainly a Nintendo site but still!).

  • Here it is! Enjoy MAGfest 2016 vicariously through me in this recap video highlighting my experiences at my very first convention!

  • I've started doing some of these Lego videos for various reasons. Mainly because it's a hobby that my lady friend likes to share with me and it helps her special ed kids get through the day. However, there is some Nintendo stuff mixed in and I plan to do a lot more with the crossover. I'll probably post another NWC/Lego video sometime today if I get my shit together. Check it out if you get bored and need something to watch while you're crapping.

Here's a DK video a did a couple weeks ago.

  • i'll be doing some gameplay, finds and haul, video game hunting videos, unboxing, movie reviews videos, and other stuff

right now im using a tablet, tripod to record game play, what can i do to make it better

  • Check out this followup to my MAGfest recap video and see what manner of goodies I ended up coming home with!

  • I don't have a lot of my channel but I plan on posting some input latency measurements on various upscalers and LCD TVs/monitors. Here's the link:

Gotta watch this one later! Never understood this game (even though I tried a few times), so I need to know if it is because I am stupid or if it's just plain doo-doo

Still love your videos by the way
  • This week on D-Plays, I play a little bit of my favorite Legend of Zelda game: A Link to the Past on the SNES!

Thanks! I appreciate that As for the game, this was actually the first time that I sat down with the intention of beating it. I initially felt like I was going nowhere, but then it clicked. It's really just an exploration game. You keep searching until you find all the necessary items and Will pieces then go to Toon Town for the Judge Doom fight. Overall, I think it's a good game and I dig the concept. Anyway, thanks again

  • I've got a puppet taking on Justice League Heroes: The Flash for the latest Obscure Old Games!
