jone: Green side for life, besides I've collected green-side condition this whole time. We should be uniting against the common enemy, the Yellowers...
Lucas: Knew someone would comment, haha. I don't organize my games alphabetically, they are organized by publisher > release date. That way all the first-partys are together and there is a more uniform look, I do this with other systems too.
kobra: Yeah I did get that LoD from you, and it's still as mint as ever...but still!

I take offence to that! Only way i can make them all fit on one shelf Any of your games sealed?
^Haha nice. I actually displayed yellow side out for a while and the extra space was nice. However, my games looked shittier because I target boxes with nice green sides, so I am glad I switched back.
The only sealed game in my N64 set is Mega Man 64. All the other sealed games I own, I also have CIB counterparts (you can see them in the bottom right corner covered by the watermark - Perfect Dark, NFL QB Club 98, Powerpuff Girls, Lode Runner 3-D, Duck Dodgers, Daikatana, and Winback).
Not bad, what you mean by counterparts? like doubles? In my set i got a few sealed games; mega man 64, snowboard kids, super bowling, star soldier, powerpuff girls, backstage assault, air combat, aydin and too many more lol but i got loose carts of each to actually play them at some point

Nice, those are some good titles. Yeah I mean doubles, so for example I have a CIB Daikatana and a sealed one as well.
Oddly enough, my open copy of Powerpuff Girls is missing the manual so my sealed one is the one that counts toward my CIB set. I would love to buy a loose manual if anyone has one...
there are two sealed copies of powerpuff girls at a local record store. unfortunately, they didnt have hangtabs so someone just stabbed the hanger through the boxes. i cringe every single time i walk into that place.
Thanks for stealing my thunder, my last box should be in the mail. At least I got a premptive strike on you by selling you your most expensive pieces.
J/k of course. Congrats. I wish I could say my most expensive piece was $160.
Yeah man, I was planning to give you a shoutout for that nice deal we did but I didn't want to single anyone out. I'm very happy with the Transformers you sold me.
Guntz: Man, whatever. I don't even think I play 20% of the games, save for the top titles N64 is more fun to collect to play. You weren't complaining when you sold stuff to me
I try to play everything I own... Or at least, only keep things I'll play. Buying stuff just to collect makes no sense to me anymore.
Yeah, it was nice finding someone to buy my cardboard. Perhaps you found a way to play with cardboard that I never figured out.
I hate the N64 and think the console and it's lineup of games is absolutely terrible. That said, congrats on finishing the set CIB.
Sorry, the obligatory passive-aggressive N64 troll post has already been made on page one. And btw, for hating the N64, you sure seem to post about it everytime it comes up. As an N64 collector, I'm flattered that you take the time to view our collections
Most of the N64 haters are probably just people that didn't grown up as a kid with one. It was that system that came out after their initial run with video games. Most that let their hatred be known are really just showing their age.
It's the equivalent of a 20-year-old coming onto this message board (An NES dominant place) and saying the NES sucks. All while knowning he's just a young kid that didn't grow up around the NES, then SNES before owning his N64.
Someone coming here bashing the NES would get laughed out of the building.
Well, I grew up surrounded by the N64 and I can say that a lot of the games haven't aged well. That said, there's tons of A-list titles considering the library's size, and a lot of enjoyable games outside of the expected pool of first-party releases.
It's just weird how I get flak for actively searching for games that I won't drop everything to play, or that I want the box etc. It all serves a purpose to me, in fact I like game boxes because they are like mini-advertisements and I like advertisements.
I'm amazed at some of the negative attitudes in this thread. I guess you need to voice your opinions in direct conflict with the topic at hand for anyone to give a shit, huh? You don't need to justify anything to those douchers, hell, you could collect it just because they look cool, and not give a rat's ass about any of the actual gameplay. Congrats on the set, it's quite the feat nowadays with the way prices have been.
Seriously anyone posting about hating the n64 or not understanding people who complete sets probably should go someplace else, lots of open threads are waiting for you.

The more boxes I get the more I start to think going CIB would be awesome.

Just my two cents.

Congratz!
