  • Yeah, I can barely believe it's been this long either...
  • Gonna be there one day, I'm past the 1/3 done point.
  • The last time I counted I had 101 but that was quite few purchases ago. I guess its time to count again
  • glad I chose SMS at only 114 games. I can't image more and specially doing it on a Nintendo system, which seem to be pricey. Good job.

there is just someone cool about having shelves of all those boxes to look at.
  • Grats man!
  • Good stuff.

I had a complete set once before I sold off a few games. The last games I acquired were very similar to yours. I knew back in the day that some of those games were rare as hell, but nobody else cared.

I vote for Yellow side out. It saves the most space on your shelf that way.
  • Nice man! Huge congrats, it's certainly not an easy feat to have a whole set, let alone CIB. Great work, looks great!

Yeah people still don't care about most of them. I sure do, though.

I actually was displaying yellow for a little while to save on space. However it didn't work with my shelves since there was overhang, and also, since I always collected green side out up until then most of my boxes seemed to favor green spine condition over the yellow side condition. Everyone else was doing yellow, too...IMO green pops out more and now that I purchased one shelf just for the N64 collection it's much better (I guess I should post pics of that...)

  • Very nice, congrats!

If I keep seeing these CIB collections beautifully displayed like this, my N64 cart-only goal might turn into something a bit more expensive

EDIT: Just noticed this thread is about a year old haha. Still made me happy to see it

I've actually considered doing red side out, just because nobody else does  green and purple are both cool, I don't like the yellow at all though.

Oh yeah, 5 year old topic, oops.
  • But the question is - did Krunch ever play more than 20% of the games?

    (also still an awesome collection!)

Hahaha this collection no longer exists! It has been parted out and swept away. But most of the "good stuff" is still there

But you know I should actually get an exact total. Because I even run into people in real life who love to throw out percentages when it comes to the 64 set and its always like, really, hypothetical guy? You think there's 10-20 good games in the entire library? I would estimate I've played maybe half of the set, maybe more up to 60-65%? There's a lot of outdated sports games on that roster so that's not bad

    But you are a mod....

BOOM! 2012 Vec's mind was just blown.

And yet, he no longer has the set... so Vec can't give him the award anyway...

    MODCEPTION!

  • Gotta love necrobumps
  • Damn. I read this whole thread before noticing the date and reading the "this thread is over a year old" post. And that was in 2013.

Love the modceptin thing, though, haha.

And RIP Krunch's Complete N64 collection. Perhaps you are now part of other complete sets and indeed fulfilling your destiny.
