Brewery "Completed" Section

I think it would be nice if there was a section specifically for completed projects, the brewery forum has a million threads of people asking questions, WIP projects, etc etc and it can be kind of hard tojust find things that are 'done'

  • Great idea! I felt the same way going through it myself.
  • Sounds like a good idea to me
  • i like it. maybe "recently completed" sticky in the top of the section would be fun. every now and then someone puts a "look what i made" thread, but a specific place to put them would be cool.
  • If someone wanted to make a thread listing all of the completed projects we could sticky it to the top of the brewery however at this time, we do not believe adding additional areas to the forums would be that beneficial to the site.

  • Good idea; that'd be a great sticky! It'd be awesome to have the name of the game, who made it, and where to buy it (if applicable), or where to download it (as long as the ROM was uploaded by or by the consent of the creator). It'd actually be really cool.
  • In the brewery I have a stickied thread that gets unpinned at times. It lists completed homebrews(by link), Homebrews completed in the last year are listed in the 1st post. At the bottom of the first post I have projects that are in development.

  • It's a great idea but this is what the NA Database is for. If there is a completed game that isn't in there, please contact one of the authorized persons for the database and we will try to put the game in there along with a link to where to get it. I'm not sure how many people have looked at the database but I always put a link to where you can get a particular game if it's available. There is also a repro maker thread that you can go to and possibly purchase the game.

On this point, I do agree with Paul that less clutter on the site is probably better since there is a better more organized place for every game, the NA Database.

Right now, there should only be completed repro/homebrew games in the database. There is also a comprehensive list of projects "in the works" on the nesworld.com website.
