Very nice! I'd also definitely be interested in Azure Dreams, Oddworld, and the Jade Cocoon case and manual (or just the whole game for the right price, I have it disc only) if you wanna work out a trade or sell 'em.
Nice grabs! I could use Red Alert and the X-Files if they're complete and you wanna trade. Also could use the Parasite Eve II manual if for some reason you wanted to separate it.
Most of the NES games are doubles and I will be selling/trading. The ones that I'm keeping are: Castlevania 3, Mega Man 2, Duck Tales, Chip and Dale, Ghost Busters, yellow lable Metroid, TNMT Arcade, Karate Kid, Shadowgate, Chessmaster and Ikari Warriors. I'm keeping the PS1 games except Dino Crysis.
I don’t know if it’s too soon to brag about Wii finds here but I think this snag was worth bragging about. Yesterday out in a Kirkland, WA neighborhood sale I walk into a garage sale and immediately spot “Clyde” the orange Pac-Man ghost, it was only a quarter so that was great (I would have paid more). I didn’t notice any other video game stuff so I am about to pay the lady who was running to sale and of course I ask her if she has any more Video Game stuff. She said “Yes, but only a Wii”. She points it out to me and it was on the table next to where I found Clyde. I guess I didn’t notice it because there was a Wii Balance board in a pink carrying case on top. As she’s telling me what’s in it I notice $5 stickers all over it and I was thinking to myself “that can’t be the price”. So I ask her “how much” and she says “$5”. So it was a no brainer, Five bucks and she threw in Clyde for free! Anyway I though this is an incredible snag for $5. This was obviously “Adult Owned” and in Mint Condition. What was really great about this deal was the game “Walk it out”. If you don’t know about this game, it’s kind of valuable. You can sell them on eBay for $45 + shipping, and the one in this lot was STILL SEALED which can fetch $60-$80. So a great find, oh and not pictured below is the Wii Balance Board.
I don't know about you Walk it out Sucks lol. Sarcasm aside well in terms of rarity I wouldn't say it is rare yet more in line of uncommon I saw 2 copies of it at a local game store for $10 brand new and I didn't give 2 shits about it. But yeah in the future maybe or maybe not it will join the other more sought after wii games in value but right now it is not in high demand despite it becoming uncommon. I thought you knew that "rarity" does not always equal high value. Otherwise nice pickup
I never said it was "rare". I am truly aware about people calling games "rare" when they truly are not. It drives me crazy when I see an ad on Craigslist advertising "Rare Games" when all they have is Zelda and Mario games. I would beg to differ about you saying it's not "High Demand", they usually sell pretty good on eBay. I just sold one I paid $3 for last week for $45 + shipping, B.I.K. I think I had it up for 2 days before it sold. It is definitely a game worth piking up for cheap because you can flip it for a good profit. I'm all about making extra funds to finance this hobby.
And so you sold it for $45 after buying it for $5 and what do you want me to say. If you read my response I merely stated my opinion about walk it out in terms of its value and rarity I never put words in your mouth nor did I intend to if you assumed then I apologize.
And FYI I said it was a nice haul for what you paid. I'm sorry if I don't show the same enthusiasm with you when it comes to walk it out.
So what if he bought something for 5 and sold it for 45 so what its what it is about maybe u need someone to teach u bout making profit Abraham maybe u did not do good in school in math but don't condem people that made money. And as for it iti what it is Im ure u would to. It sounds like ur causing trouble on someone elses thread why don't u take a chill pill for a while Abraham and read about profit for dummies book.
steelo ignore him entirely. Lately he's been copping attitudes on peoples posts all over like a habit and it'll come back to get him sooner or later since the mods here get tingly about negative posting and that was a pure thread crapping act there.
If a game that lame about walking by Konami can pull over $40 used and double that new for just $5 you got a super score, not that any of that being $5 (like the Wii) was a bad thing either. It may not be a favored system, but it has a few good titles and doubles as a slick netflix box in the bedroom for myself at least.
So like I said if he thinks it is worth it fine I even gave him props. I'm sorry toonoki that I don't live up to expectations or whatever deep seated dislike you have for me.
But as a collector who happens to have a Wii and collect all Nintendo games for all platforms have an opinion "gasp" that doesn't fall in line with the current trend.
Yeah, in fact he mentioned that this one was sealed and the cheapest sealed one I saw on ebay at the moment was a $90 BIN. So it's pretty undeniably an awesome score.
Picked these up today at a thrift shop less than a block from my house. They are kind of weird, sometimes they look up and price their games close or over retail, example they had Pokémon yellow for $25 and have Zelda Minish Cap for $28. 2 weeks ago I found a very minty GCN Twilight Princess for $2.50. Total for these was $10 + tax.
This Tales of Symphonia and Shadow the Hedgehog will be upgrades.
This was in a Sega lot I found out Garage Sailin' today! Paid $50 for this whole lot. Had a very good day, including this, the sega lot, Famicom, Famicom Disk, Super Famicom, Sega Mega-Drive, and sealed Gamecube controller.
