Looking for a Wii system Housing, Black, no doors

Hey everyone, can someone point me to a place to buy a replacement housing for a black nintendo Wii ssytem? I just got one and the case is a bit scratched up so I woudln't mind replacing it. I usally go to places like ebay or DX.com which have the case, but only as a replacement for the white original wii (that had the doors on top for the gamecube controllers and memory cards) the Wii I have is a newer version that dropped gamecube support and removed those doors.

    I'm not sure ones with doors will still work with the one's that aren't backwards compatible. I know the one's without the GC doors/ports do have words on the front faceplate ("Wii, "Power", "Reset") read from left to right when sitting horizontally. If the system has the doors/ports on them, the words on the front faceplate read from left to right in the vertical position.



    Knowing that, my best bet is to look around Ebay for some broken systems.

    Shop around, and if you're not sure, ask the sellers how the condition is on them.



    Also, I do work at a gamestore, so if I get a system beyond repair (unlikely, but you may never know), I'll send you a PM man.

    Thanks for the tip! I'll keep a eye out on ebay for a good/better case than what I have now.

    This wont be for my main Wii, my main wii is the one I got on launch day and is still in very nice shape ^-^

    This is for my 2nd hand black wii I picked up last month. I plan on abusing this poor lil wii with a epic amount of hacks and softmods... perhaps I won't go to crazy in a case replacement since I got this system for a great price...

    Cool man, good luck and lemme know how it turns out! Again, I don't know if either models are interchangeable, so hopfully the little tidbit helped.



    And dude, a Batman skin would look sweet! I was skeptical, I used to not like skins in the past... but now I'm getting more and more into them and I think they're pretty cool. Here's one of my Wiis that I got skinned:

    Thats a sweet looking skin! I never liked skins in the past since they often left a residue. I had a DS lite that i had a nintendogs decal on to protect it from scratches. once I removed it later with a better option Yeeeesh!! all the residue, took forever to clean off. but on a scuffed up wii, I see no reason to revert back to a unskinned look. so far I'm looking at batman or a futurama skin. I think batmans gonna win it due to the system color (black) going so well with it)



    but going to have the same problem as with a replacement case/housing, those darn 2 doors no longer being there on top, will leave a seem or gap in the decal
