Seems legit, most times when a CIB game comes up on Ebay I'm interested it, I go to the listing and the prices have been anywhere from $6, all the way to $48+, I never understood why it costs so much to ship a small item in a box. I get cheaper shipping from buying over seas with larger and heavier boxes.
You know what? James, you made me realize i'm an idiot. The actual weight is 3.17 pounds now that I look at my notebook (this was using the individual weight of games, doing the math, and adding some cushion weight). I think I'm ok guys.
But yeah! I've done some testing of the 4-pound rule. That's absolutely ridiculous!
I'm currently waiting on a package of games from a Canadian NAer. What has me worried is the tracking stopped once the package hit San Francisco back on Sunday. It's now Friday and not one bit of activity since then.

ya, normally when the tracking number stops updating thats super not good....(or at least thats my experience)
With padding I'm actually really close to 4 pounds if not slightly over... I'll plan to arrive to the PO early tomorrow with a bag full of extra boxes/packing materials should I need to break it into two shipments.
It's really ridiculous. At exactly 4 pounds I'm looking at $15, which leaves me out $3.... but if it's even an ounce over, splitting it up puts it at $19 total, putting me out $7... grr.

I sent a package from Canada to my bud in the states last week. He just received it yesterday but the tracking still says in transit lol. It more then likely is ok. With my experience almost all my packages that I send don't get tracked the whole way but always make it. It's almost like the post office gets lazy.

if i have an order thats over 4 pounds i slip them into 2 boxes and ship them first class
i never knew that first class out of the US is 4 pounds and under
so now i ship to CAN and the US , but i would split them into 2 boxes
i just shipped some posters (15 of them) and it was only like 15 bucks
not bad , but anything over 4 pounds is crazy high
