$2.99 per NES (any retro) game at Cash Converters is their claim to fame. Found a Double Dragon, Kung Fu, 5 screw Pro Wrestling, Contra and behold...another 5 screw......what is this??? DKJ Math for $3?! Oh my God! Score!

  • congrats! I just had to shell out a good bit for a 2nd copy for a friend.

It's a shame yours isn't in better shape, but it's awesome you scored one in the wild.

Norfolk. The employees call me whenever boxed Sega games come in....they never mentioned NES carts.

Awesome dude! I'm going to check it out! Thanks bro!

  • Many years back I got a lot of great stuff at Cash Converters for 3 bucks (CIB Castlevania games being a standout) and i honestly didn't even know they were still around. Good snag!

  • Not a bad score for $43 on a boxed SEGA Genesis whim. The "Deadly Moves" case had Golden Axe in it...weird.

    Video to follow.

Hey now! Stay out of my territory!
  • Just messing with you bro!
  • It's beat to shit and faded, but still, I'd take that all day for that! Nice job!
  • I thought this store was exclusive to Canada for some reason!

The locations near me sell tons of the retro games, and it seems you can get great deals since the prices change depending on which staff member takes in stock.

    You're right.

It was so faded I had to squint to see the "math" on the label.

Then I had a heart attack.

No. I'm messing with you. Check it out! Doubt you'd find anything you'd want though. It's off Little Creek Road.

This place is surprising for me at least. I make out everytime I go to the different locations. I rarely get skunked.
  • Awesome find, Where is this cash converters place? I live about an hour and a half from Norfolk so i go there every once in a while, i might have to stop by next time i'm up there!
  • I haven't seen Faery Tale Adventure in forever. Nice.
  • *Donkey Kong Jr Math for $3... Jealous.

Use Google they are everywhere. There are several locations most famously people sell off things for cash to buy drugs or whatever. This particular one was in a grimey part of the city. Hence why I tend to score weird stuff under the radar.

Yeah a lot of those SEGA games are kind of uncommon......at least around my neck of the woods. That Rings of Power is a little pricey......at least on eBay. lol.
  • The game is filthy. Much needed cleaning.
