DS Phat with a broken hindge

So I picked up a DS phat with a broken hindge for just a few bucks. I figured I could use it as a first system for our little girl turning four. If she breaks it it wont be a big deal. I know that when people had ds lites with a broken hindge they could just get the nerf armor and it had hinges on it so it solved the problem but I couldnt find anything like that for a ds phat. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well I hate a ds lite and did not know about then nerf armor til now. Looks like I'll be picking that up. But what I've been doing is I had an old dog tag you know like what the military uses. and I just bent it some and slid under where the screen and the bottom of the ds is and use the other half to support the screen. It works great for me but just got to take it out and put it back in when wanting to close the ds.
