I recently picked up a sealed Asteroids for Atari 7800, Mickey's Safari in Letterland, Bigfoot, Batman Returns, Shinobi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Super Sprint, RBI Baseball 2, Galactic Crusader, Mendel Palace, Mechanized Attack, Ultima, and Godzilla.
Interesting Yard Sale find: CIB Barely touched NES Total Recall and Rocket Ranger for 50c. Also had a nice craigslist find of 40 fairly dirty coated games, toaster, 3 light guns, and 6 controllers for $30. Nothing above common (TMNT, Excitebike, Dragon Warrior, MTPunchout, etc), but a nice find.
Solid grab today... little local store posted on Craigslist that they had a copy of Chrono Trigger. Stopped in 3 days later and didn't see it and figured meh... but did see an Act Raiser 2 for $10.00 which I grabbed. REALLY good shape. When the owner saw me looking at SNES titles he pulled out the Chrono, wanted $49.99 for it. I didn't have it so I ran out to my car, I had brought a few trade items just in case. I had 20 really bad GBA kids games, stuff like Drake and Josh and Phil of the Future. I was planning to eBay them in a lot for $40.00 shipped or so, paid $20.00 with 2 GBA SPs and a game I kept. (only 1 game I kept mind you, terrible games, bought for the systems) They gave me $37.00 for them! That's more than I would have cleared from eBay after shipping and fees, I happily said yes.
So I walked out of there for $25.00 or so with tax with copies of both Act Raiser 2 and Chrono Trigger. Very happy with that.
I was at the flea market last weekend and I normally pass the regulars. I ended up seeing something on this one guys truck that always sells like grocery store products. Anyways, he had 3 gamestop posters (MOH, Xcomm, borderlands 2) and he had 16 big box never used for display only of new games, some that had not even come out yet like halo 4. I asked him how much and he said $6 for everything. Needless to say I was struggling to carry it all around the rest of the day (too lazy to go back to the car).
I saw a few SNES games on craigslist for cheap and contacted the guy. He told me instead of cash he really wanted Nascar 08 for the PS3. I quickly hit up the local game store and picked the game up for $10. I traded him it for Krusty's Super Fun House, Zelda Link to the Past, Air Strike Patrol, and Top Gear 3000. He then threw in Super Mario 2 Yoshi's Island for my trouble lol. Also asked if I like Atari and gave me 20 games for free. I left happy.
Picked up a minty CIB Illusion of Gaia with all the inserts for less than a cart would cost. Not keeping it so someone PM me an offer or trade for N64 CIB games
Picked up Pokemon stadium 2 and hey you pikachu with the mic and adaptor for $10 yesterday. Been looking for stadium 2 for a long time. Three different friends have had it forever it and they don't even collect!
I've had a bit of a dry spell at the flea markets during the summer, so I stopped going until more of the snowbirds came back. Finally found something decent, got this box of games and a system for $40. The controllers are still brand new and all the games are near mint. What was even more surprising is that the guy that had this was only 2 booths down from a re-seller and I'm surprised he didn't see it. Guess it was waiting there for me.
