Just found a PAL Shenmue 2 CIB for Dreamcast, really nice everything for $1.99 at a good will, the last few completed listings on feebay are in the $50-$70 range. To lazy to post any pics, Will this work in a ntsc dreamcast?
Got a really nice copy of International Superstar Soccer 2000 the day after Christmas. I ended up buying this copy from a seller in Brazil. I feel good not paying the going rate for a sports game.
Duck Tales 2 on Amazon, hidden in the "collectors" section for $70. Guy sent me pictures, it's near mint. Also, received by Kid Klown copy today! The game is awesome.
I've found a lot of crazy 3 for 10/ 3 for 15 classic plastic deals at Game Crazy. My best one was finding Mega Man 7 for 5 bucks in that deal. I think the other ones were Mega Man 2 for 5 and Gunstar Heroes for 5.
Found Nintendo power issue 285 at safeway the other day, there was 2 copies so I bought both of them, 6.99 each Then I went and checked other stores in town.
No pictures, but mind blown today on what I stumbled upon sheerly on luck and accident. Had to go buy a gallon of milk for the baby, went to half price books to makeit a little extra worth my while. Sitting alone on a shelf more or less was Cubivore, annoyingly $50, more annoyingly it's $50-70+ on ebay paid. I didn't know it then, hid it behind some xbox junk and went home to price it. Returned quick some some old DVDs, a few books, an atari flashback I couldn't get rid of, and an old board game. I got $55 in credit +10% off card for selling stuff to them.
I used the $55 in credit (plus $5.50 in out of pocket cash)
-Cubivore (CIB, mint as you can get)
-Godzilla GC (non PC, fantastic shape)
-Nintendo Top Secret Passwords Guide (50cents)
-Zelda manga book($2)
-Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Collectors magazine from 1984($2)
Yeah it's fantastic and if I remember right Nintendo made it, then NOA was too wussy to release it here so Atlus manned up for them and did the US run of it. There wasn't a huge supply of them put out as Atlus at the time just did enough of a run or runs to meet current demand and that's it so it has always been a costly title. The fun of it is it's like the EVO of the Cube, it's an evolution game where you go around cubist art style areas with cubist creatures and eat them to pieces and use the monster meat to evolve into various creatures and better forms until you hit 'perfection' or near enough to take down the final boss. Like Animal Crossing it basically is like an N64 game on a GC disc.
Not Nintendo-related but I just got this Atari XL computer lot in the mail today that I'm pretty excited about...
There's Miner 2049'er, Chicken, Centipede, Pacman, Missile Command, Dig Dug, Star Raiders... and my favorite of all, a flash cart containing a ton more games. I used to play Dig Dug and Miner 2049'er like crazy every single day after school when I was 10-11 and I'm going to be busy playing all those multi-cart games for quite a while. It also came with a third party controller and a couple manuals that are hilariously huge... were the boxes for these games really that big? haha...
Grabbed a pretty good Gamecube collection with 75% off (+PUR). Spent ~$200 for all these (left Choas Field and Sonic Adventure DX missing instructions out of picture because they were dupes).

Not an amazing deal but considering it was all found locally I think $30 is okay.

Two loose copies of Captain America on the Genesis, $3 each.
Used a $75 Play N Trade gift card and picked up a decent condition copy of Demon's crest and Batman Returns. Technically free games are always nice.
The PSone is complete and everything is in the box.
Not pictured is a N64 expansion pak.
