Here is some stuff I picked up from the past week.
These games were without their labels. The Super Mario Land was only a board so I decided to use a green cart case from a non working game I had. Success!
Got some real good deals here. I was very happy to add Mega Man Legends to my collection and I only paid half of what it's actually worth!
I've been wanting to add this Mega title to my collection and I finally did! Not bad for 16 bucks!
Yeah they're famicom games. The one on the left has 100 or so games in one while the one in the right is a DDR style game. Of course, you use your game pad instead of the mat
I checked out a few yard sales on Saturaday, this was the first time in about 2 years that I have tried yard sales. I suppose the joy of hunting games was lost for me. However I managed to aquire a pretty cool item here. A SegaScope system complete in box, the box has a bit of wear, but everything inside is excellent. $10 for everyting pictured here. I am not really interested in Sega stuff, and I have no idea of the value, but I read somewhere that this version might be kinda rare. Feel free to correct me on that if I am wrong.
I haven't seen one of those Master System sets yet anywhere so I guess this is fairly uncommon. No idea of the value but can't really go wrong for 10 bucks
The 3D glasses alone are worth a lot. I wish I could find stuff like that at a yard sale....well let me rephrase that...I wish I could find stuff like that at a yard sale where the seller didn't say "I want $250 for the sega! Them thar nintendo tapes sell for 10 thousand dollars on the ebay durrrrr!"
Dr. Retro's Video Game Finds Part 86 is online, with a lot of great and rare games as usual, but this time also with the most desired press kit of this year. Which one? Go see for yourself!
After two years of searching, I snagged two DK Jr. Maths in one week. Basically after I'd stopped collecting entirely. After getting the second, I sent the first back to the seller. She had no idea what she had, and apparently needed the money. I need crap on my shelf like I need a hole in the head, so to heck with it. The second one came today. It was in even better condition. Intact hangtab and all. Here it is:
Dang, that's nice looking! Also pretty nice of you to send the other one back.
Adventure was from my cousin (just the box/paperwork, I provided the game)
And the gem to the right was a buddy from Instagram. Scored big time on it. Paid half the going rate, and it is 100% complete down to the original receipt. Not to mention the condition is very good.
My bro gave me a CIB Chrono Trigger for my birthday (it's in late August, but who knows when I will see him again). It has all the posters and inserts in awesome condition. I think the real reason is that he doesn't want his ex taking the game back.
Either way, I'm happy. Now I gotta get the damn EB stickers off the box.
Nintendo Power Issues 17-111 omit 75 and 22 came in today. I asked if they had any posters, seller said there were no posters included. Most issues end up having not only their posters, but the NP Cards, Game Cards, and all other tear away things. I can't believe it. Not to mention the condition is amazing for the most part.

No pic but you can see it and a fat description of it up on amazon which is far easier.
CH Products Fighterstick. This thing retails $125-150(originally 150) though amazon has it a bit less. I just picked it up at Goodwill for all of five dollars.
This thing is insane too. 16 buttons, a hat, throttle wheel too. It can be coupled with an independent throttle and pedals to work as a full blown honest flight simulator cockpit joystick and is super high rated. (No it's not for sale, looking to get back X-Wing Collector Edition for Win as I found a way to make it work in Win7 64bit so it will be used.)
Not the greatest find in the world, but I picked up a nice copy of Defiance for PS3 today for $12.40 from Goodwill. They had it listed at $30 and marked down to $24.99. I asked the woman working there if they could do any better and bam, $12.99. I was surprised they knocked it down that much. My student discount brought it down further to the $12.40
