I had some KILLER finds today, first picture we have my local finds, best of all a CDX, been wanting one for ages! got it and the N64 console for $15! and the NES/SNES/N64 games were $3-$5 each, Zoop was $8 and the boxed Firehouse Rescue was $15. Other pictures are lots I snagged off ebay, $55 shipped for the first picture, well worth the price, and $70 shipped for the second lot. The mario bros and wild gunman are rough shape, but for the price they will make great placeholders. The second lot many of the games still had their factory plastic on the outsides, and most were complete. In all some killer deals this past week.
Went with Penguin today to a flea market, a pawn shop and Play N Trade. Picked up:
NES: Donkey Kong Jr. Math NES: Volleyball SNES: TMNT: Turtles in Time SNES: Animaniacs Sega Genesis: Captain America & The Avengers Sega Genesis: Street Fighter II: Special Championship Edition Sega Genesis: X-Men Sega Genesis: Strider (Complete in box)
Stopped by the Play N Trade in Cape today, found some more great deals, got some more SMB/DH carts for about $1.50 a piece, Ninja Warriors for SNES for $5, Bomberman hero for $4, a boxed Quickshot XII joystick for $4, Diablo for the PSX complete and minty $14, Wheel of fortune vanna white and super talking jeopardy, and the tengen tetris manual were all free. Last but not least, I had mentioned to one of the guys that I had picked up a CDX yesterday and that I was missing the ac adapter, and he went in the back and found one for it, he said someone had bought the CDX they had for sale and had taken the genesis 2 adapter with it. Got that for $4, sweetness.
#1 - nes controller and game storage box $3, wico command control stick for atari 2600 $2. plus they were on sale. the nes box came with 10 empty sleeves? no games anywhere around it.
#2,3 - clear black dc controller with official memory unit, standard nes controller, plus a random 3rd party nes controller (new!) in the box all for $10. ok deal i guess. happy to have another working dc controller and the goofy nes piece.
#4 goal! two loose $5, baseball stars loose $4. local store and savers respectively.
I picked up a N64 with a few controllers and 11 games as well as 7 board games from a guy in NW Portland for $70. I also got 74 NES games including a proto and a power glove for $179 from a guy in McMinnville. STAR WARS TRIVIAL PURSUIT and LORD OF THE RINGS RISK!? Those will be fun.
my buddy went to local game store that is run by some people he know and brought me back about 200+ of the black nes sleeves and 20 or so of the hard plastic ones. all for FREE! woot!
I found a R.O.B. yesterday for 34.95 at the local thrift store! and some games...
I also got some other sexy games...sorry sega haters.. And now a Saturn controller WOOHOOOO To finish things up I bought a case for my copy of Tactics Ogre! It's now in a safe place! Still need the manual though...
found a loose copy of Gyromite today at a new Flea Market for 2.00. When I opened her up I found this...
I'd say this was a fantastic deal, considering the fact that on eBay the damn things cost around $30.
I think I'm gonna ditch the flea market I've been frequenting in favor of this one.
By the way, I know the Famicom games PCB is inserted backwards, the cart has obviously been taken apart before by someone else. I took this right after I opened the cart. How strange...
I stopped at goodwill yesterday. I wasn't expecting too much, but I did find something awesome. I found a Model 1 Sega Genesis, a Model 1 Sega CD, two official six-button controllers, a three-button controller, and four SCD games, all for about $30. I hooked it all up last night and found that it works flawlessly. One of my best goodwill finds ever.
picked me up a sega saturn cib for $35 today.. with mint manuals, saturn stickers, registration card, etc.. in the package only opened to get the demo disk out.
SNES: Michael Andretti's Indy Car Challenge (CIB. Literally-- Still has inserts and stationary. I assume the thrift store opened the game before they sold it.)
Play N Trade finds:
Genesis: Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition (The cart itself is a Mega Drive cart with a Genesis label... Odd.)
