Where do you ship international first class packages online??

Okay, in typical usps fashion they have things that make no sense whatsoever and make my life a little more annoying. Like the fact that they will not allow you to ship international first class packages online. Neither will paypal for that matter. There's much speculation i've read as to the reason. No matter the reason, I need to find a place where I can ship these type online. The ladies at the PO are acting annoyed that I bring international packages in every other day.

I'd prefer a free service for shipping if anyone knows of one, please please let me know! Thank you.

PS: Thinking of Stamps.com, I know they aren't free. Does anyone know if they offer international first class?

  • I found a very detailed guide on Gametz a few years back. It's been hit or miss sometimes. Check it out.

  • I use stamps.com (which supports international first class) and think its great. I have used their XML stuff and a barcode scanner to integrate into my shopping cart software.
  • Okay, thanks for the tips guys!

  • Are you shipping via eBay? I ship first class international every day through the shipping tool.
  • You could try endicia. It's 10 a month instead of 15, and you get the first month free.

Really? I'm curious as to how you do this. I don't like the fact that usps.com doesn't give you any options other than priority or express.

Here's a copy and paste directly from Ebay:

What shipping services are available with eBay Labels?

The following USPS options are available:

    • Domestic Services: Priority Mail, Express Mail, First Class Mail Parcel, Media Mail, and Parcel Post.

    • International Services: Express Mail International and Priority Mail International.

The following FedEx services are available:

    • FedEx Priority Overnight®, FedEx Standard Overnight®, FedEx 2Day®, FedEx Express Saver®, FedEx Ground®, FedEx Home Delivery®

    • To ship with FedEx international services, enroll in the FedEx Advantage® Savings program.

  • Well sometimes I ship from eBay sales. It's mostly things from my website. I do always use Paypal to ship however so it should be the same thing. I've never had the option available to me unfortunately. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or only certain regions are available. Endicia sounds like a winner for $10.
  • I know you can also have someone(friend, family, etc...) buy something from you on ebay and use that sale to make more labels. I had my girlfriend buy something for $0.01 with free shipping and I just used that. It saves a lot of time from hvaing to wait in line and a ton on gas.
  • Yeah you cannot do first class international directly through PayPal - which is why I won't ship to Canada for NA sales - sorry, my lunch break is more important

But when you set up your eBay listings, make sure that you specify that you'll ship to Canada via First Class International. Are you guys newer eBay users? I'm wondering if the interface is different...

Reason I'm curious: I have 2 eBay accounts. One is my account for my business, the other is for consignment business (much easier to keep them separated). PS - f*ck consignment, don't ever do it.

The layout for my shipping manager and pretty much the entire layout is different for both accounts. One is about a year older than the other.

    Anyone else have multiple accounts?
