Walmart DSi ultimate bundle

Good Morning,

I'm going to purchase the Ultimate DSi Bundle at Walmart for my eight year old daughter. The bundle lets you pick three DS games from a list of 43 games. Many of the titles are lackluster titles but the plan my wife and I have is to pick one for our daughter, let my wife pick one to play, and one for me to keep sealed in my collection.

The question is which games should we pick? Keep in mind one is for an 8 year old girl, another for a 28 year old woman, and another for collectibility.

Thanks for the future input guys.

  • I would say the 3 best are Chibi Robo, Starfy, and Giana Sisters. Then you guys can pick between the 3.
  • Rhythm Heaven is a great game that my 9 year old daughter enjoys. Picross DS is a solid Puzzle game and than Starfy, Chibi-Robo, and Giana Sisters would be other solid choices to play or keep sealed.
  • Hm.... well I think Rhythm Heaven is probably the best DS game on the list. It would be fun for your daughter, wife or a great game to add to your collection. The other games... hmm not sure... never played them before.

Are you spending $135 on that Dsi bundle? Personally I think you can find a better deal for a DS Lite or DSi with some great games on eBay.
  • I think I can do much better on Ebay or might even be able to post a buyers thread looking for a good DS bundle but my wife insists on buying something brand new for our daughter.
  • Drawn to Life is pretty fun. Picross3D is really great if you or your wife like puzzle games. As for your daughter, the Imagine games and the Pets games were big sellers to younger girls when I worked at GameStop. It really depends on what level of gaming experience she already has. If she learns pretty easily Rythm Heaven is pretty solid choice. Im sure we could both find 100 better titles but since you have to pick from those 48, those are my suggestions.
  • or you could get her a 99.00 DS only and buy a solid game on the side. As fr you and your wife, maybe wait until boxing day ?
