Tecmo Super Bowl

Hi, I have decided to map out this game.  However I don't know much about football, so if anyone does, can you assist me with a proper starting position to place the sprites of the players in.



Here is what I have at the moment:

Questions:

Are they in the proper positions?

Are there other players that should be added to the field, and if so where?

    it should be 11 players on the field for each team, and the receiving team needs at least 1 return man to be close to their endzone to receive the kick. normally they look like this:

    sometimes the return team will have 2 return men side by side, or one right in front of the other. it just depends on the skillset of the return men, the design of the return, or if the return team thinks that theres a chance for the kicking team to squib kick.

    Ok, I adjusted my map. Does it work, or does anything seem off or out of place.

    needs one more player per team. football is 11 vs 11.

    I think that is a NES sprite issue where there can be only 10 per team. I recall hearing that somewhere. However correct me if I'm wrong about that.



    I am wrong I just looked it up and it was the origional Tecmo Bowl that was limited to 10.  In that case where would the last payer go.
