Sharp NES TV Repair

So I picked up an NES TV today, super cheap. Looks and sounds great after replacing the pin connector. However, there seems to be something wrong with the controller ports. I've tried several different controllers and the LEDs on my Advantage light up, but my games won't respond to anything I push. I've opened it up and everything seems to be in order, nothing disconnected or cracked. Any idea what the issue could be?

I had the same problem when opening up my Sharp Nes tv when I had to replace the 72 pin connector. There is a small controller plug-in attached to the gameboard that needs to be hooked up and it can easily become disconnected.

Thank you for your response, Nintegrity. I see two cables connecting the ports to the main board. They look like they're connected properly. Am I missing anything?

Incoming cellphone photos. The controllers connect to the main board via the cables bordering the lower right corner.

That looks right to me. I was hoping it would be a quick fix like that. Were the controller ports unresponsive from the get go or after you opened it up and started monkeying around?

I don't know. I couldn't test them at all until the new pin connector was in there.

That was my only guess as to what the problem might be. It could be bad internal wiring but i don't know enough to troubleshoot any further.
