Pretty good finds at new place

All this for $50. This was a new place for me in CT. Spoke with the owner for a bit, and ran into a NA member! Good day for me. Thiose NES controllers with the overlays were 8 each, but I never come across the one with the overlays before so I grabbed them. Are these harder to find these days?

    Haha one of my NES controllers has that birthday-style overlay too. I figured it was just some random throwaway crap from a magazine or something back in the day.

    It was nintendo power issued them in some of their mags.

    Yeah, those overlays are from a Nintendo Power issue. I forget which one. I believe there were three different overlays, if I'm not mistaken. You have 2 out of the 3.



    I still have that circuit board overlay on one of my original NES controllers.

    those overlays came from nintendo power. there were the 2 NES ones you have, an SNES one, and a gameboy one

    Def Chuck. I could have hung out with you guys and talked Nintendo ALL DAY!! I wished I lived a litte closer but I'm going to try and hit them up every other week or so, maybe we'll run into each other again. 



    I knew I was in a good store when Chuck called me out on checking the wieght on black box carts for fami adapters! lol
