When I hit a few stores up in the north...

So, I hit a few stores up here today. This is what I was able to find-

Oddities:

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Promo VHS Tape ($1)

Sailor Moon: Super Best Audio CD ($2)

PC Stuff:

Space Rangers 2: Reboot (English Retail Version) ($12, CIB)

Counter-Strike ($2, case and CD 4?)

SEGA Genesis:

Caesar's Palace ($1, REALLY beat up, CIB)

Madden 95 ($2.50, CIB)

College Footballs National Championship ($1, CIB)

Wheel of Fortune ($3, CIB)

FIFA International Soccer ($1, CIB)

Road Rash II ($6, CIB)

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine ($8, loose)

Today was a good day. If anyone wants the Sailor Moon disc, PM me.

UPDATE: 8-1-13

Went quickly around, not a ton. A lot of new PC games show up in Goodwill, but I looked through PS1... and found yet another copy of Gran Turismo 2. Is that the SMB/DH for PS1? I've seen 7 now.

Anyway, this is what I got-

Oddities:

Civilization Strategies and Secrets ($1) (condition seems to be pretty good, a decent cover, but the pages are really nice)

PS1:

Forsaken ($2, CIB)

Comments

  • If your selling the VHS tape i collect those =)
  • Bump up first post.
  • You are correct. Gran Turismo 2 is, for all intents and purposes, the SMB/DH of PS1 games...it sold something like 4-5 million copies (I can't remember exactly how many) in North America alone.
  • Yea, GT 2 is on every PS1 sellers list... multiple times.
  • That's insane.
  • If gt2 is the mario world. Legend of dragoon is the mario rpg. Everyone wants. People think its rarer than it is.... Would ff7 be the earthbound of the system?
  • I don't know, since I've seen 6 copies of Final Fantasy 7 (not counting Kijiji), one of which I own in this retarded box, but never a copy of Earthbound. Maybe, but more common and cheaper.

Maybe FF7 is Mario RPG and Dragoon is Earthbound?

Anyway, doing a deal with a NintendoAge member, hope to get the contents within 2 weeks.
  • More hunting, now with MORE SEGA!

    SEGA SHIT:

    Dinosaurs for Hire (Genesis, loose)

    Monopoly (Genesis, loose)

    Tinhead (Genesis, CIB)

Shadow Dancer/Danger/Hanger (Genesis, CIB, can't spell the damn thing, it's for Genesis but requires a Mega Drive- that means it's from Canada!)

    NHL Hockey (Game Gear Manual)

Total cost? Heh, $7. Worth it.

I have no idea what to do with NHL Hockey manual, though.
  • Minor update.

    PS1 poop:

Gran Turismo (surprisingly, this one is sort of rare here) ($2, CIB)

    Tomb Raider ($2, CIB)

    Tomb Raider 2 ($2, CIB)

    Game Boy garbage:

Super Mario Land ($2, cartridge and manual)

SegaAge should receive updates 30 minutes prior, but most of you wouldn't care, right?
  • Those PS1 titles are pretty common when it comes to collecting but they're really good games if you want to play them! I mean Gran Turismo and Tomb Raider you can't go wrong!
  • I don't care if they're dirt common or teh rarez right now, it's mostly just to prove to me to like SONY.
