Keep in mind i know JACK SHIT about odyssey or odyssey2!!! Spotted this on the "famous" one mans junke stanly county group on facebook it was at a yardsale. Wasnt sure if it was a odyssey or not cause it was blurry. Commented and said is that a odyssey in the bottom right? Been about 20 mins and hadnt heard anything, luckily the sale was literally down the street from me. Had to go to fedex and advanced auto so figured id drive by and see if it was or not.
Sure nuff it was a "well played" odyssey2. woman wanted 60$ i was like woah!!! told the woman that was little steep. she gave me the well these are goin for 200$ on ebayin this condition. (im not that stupid lady) asked her if shed do 20 sice box was beat up...she said well it comes with all these...and she pulled out a box of 10 games. she said 50?.. i said 40 cash she said ok thatll work. SCORE!!!
You said $40 cash to lady, as in what else were you going to pay her with? I'm bustin your balls, but at the same time I never understand the line when people say I'll xxx then add in the line cash afterwards. For example. I'll pay 50 cash, what else in 50 were you going to pay me other than cash?
I understand it is a negotiating tactic but really it's silly at the end of the day just like it is silly of me to invest any thought into it.
