Wait, you can do that?! In all seriousness though, I agree this thread would of been a lot more enjoyable without the random tangents and constant badgering about tech specs and differences in colors... but then again this is the internet... *Shrugs*
In all fairness, this is an internet forum, and users can post crap whenever they want, within reason. When there's nothing to post for months on end, people start going off topic or on speculative tangents. A lot of good points have been brought up too, like feature requests, and for instance whether or not a US Vaus will work with Famicom games like Arkanoid II. ***SPOILER*** IT DOES! /SPOILER

The guys singing are even butt uglier, and the fish-eye lens does not help. I just posted it because it's really bad turn-of-the-millenia pop and had dogs in it. I still can't believe I paid good money bitd for the full album of that shite on CD.
First time I have an actual date AVS consoles are leaving the factory, unfortunately its July 26! 3-6 weeks later they will arrive here and go on sale. Small chance a preorder will start after the boat leaves, assuming it isn't taken by Somali pirates. Or Somari pirates?
Find some Olympians to carry them down Just don't pick any Russian ones....
I don't hate anyone enough to wish them to go to Rio.
But I will be in Canada way later this year, so I ought to get two shipped to the friend I will visit there during July or August. Spares me from a lot of headaches!
Great, so it could arrive here just in time for the Nintendo Convention in Germany in October.
But after my experiences with Chinese suppliers, I wouldn't be suprised if the delivery will be delayed again. I hope they are more reliable then mine.
So if they leave the factory on July 26th, and then arrive in the States 3 to 6 weeks later, this means they might arrive between August 12th to September 3rd. Does someone want to check my math?
Better late than never. I'm patient and I can wait. Honestly, looking forward to the product is half of the fun. It feels like I'm waiting for the NES to launch all over again.
I actually am glad it delayed. I'm right in the middle of a move and wasn't sure which address to use.
Plus, can save more money.
I'm thinking along those lines. Spent the money I saved on a minty core grafx and I'll have enough time to save back up again!
Nice! You won't regret it. PC Engines are sexy little machines, and with the Coregrafx mutiout, you can easily splice your own AV cable from a DIN5 MIDI. I use a PC-Henshen Hucard converter with my US Turbografx.

In anticipation I bought a grafx booster from db electronics for when I finally am able to afford a xrgb mini.

You won't regret it I took a long time for me to justify the cost of the xrgb mini but once I had it it really lived up to the hype.

But doesn't the xrgb mini add lag?
If it does it's very little and I been playing nes games since the 80's and I have not noticed an issue. I used to have the cheap HDMI scaler and that was lag city. I still have a crt so if I want to play ninja gaiden or punch out I can play on there. I played quite a bit of ninja gaiden 3 on the mini and didn't feel any lag issues.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, my kids are totally going to love Power Coloring!
I need to set up a Power Glove and see how well that works. With the Power Pad my kids end up just jumping around and ignoring anything on screen.
Sounds like a great way to tire them out! LOL. Thats pretty cool though that it will work with a Power Glove. I was thinking that I would just set them up with a Advantage.
So how does the pre-ordering process go for this? I've been following it since the thread opened but admittedly have fallen behind lately. Love to see the progress and craftsmanship that went into it. Cheers.
I think Brian said preorder was a possiblity for the LE consoles, but not for the RE. I think a reserve list would be appropriate for the LE consoles, then everyone gets like three days to make good on payment. If they don't, they miss out and any people past the cutoff get a shot at it. Even then, the reserve list would fill up fast, and getting in would largely be luck based depending on if the interested party were online at the time the reserves opened up. And if a time is announce for opening up reserve lists, expect said list to be full within minutes...
I'm not joining this rat race and will likely spring for the RE, which Brian claims there will be ample stock of. As for the "launch" titles, it depends on final sale price if I buy them all or not.
Also because I am curious, can you save your doodles to the on cart flash in Power Coloring? A save option would make it more attractive to gamers/artists who might want to preserve their work. Also it would be hilareous if someone (Joel?) resold theirs and then the buyer discovered all the penis pics left on it!

Yeah. I stopped reading this thread because of all of his posts. Anyone know how to say "I love puppies" in French?
Je me pel puppies?
Your name is puppies?
The correct phraise is, "Je taime puppies."
This means "I love you, puppies". But "I love puppies" in French is "J'aime puppies".
so 3rd week of August looks to be the time frame
Also picts of the 100 mostly finished AVS LLE boxes: https://www.facebook.com/retroUSB/posts/1146956588717076

Yeah I have heard the import duties in Brazil are rough. Enjoy the Olympics!
