This worked out pretty well

If you add up the cost I've spent on the cartridge, the box, and all other misc things, I've paid a total of $270 for this boxed copy of Sculptor's Cut.

I think $270 for a boxed copy is pretty good considering a few SC boxes have just recently sold for $345, $355, and $371 in the NA auctions.

  • Nice. You going to try to get a manual?
  • Now all you need is that darn manual XD
  • Nice find man!Congrats!
  • I've hardly even seen the manual for sale, let alone had the money ready for one. I'll get one. One day...
  • nice dude i just paid 50 cents for my copy, but i have a feeling paying for a box is gunna make up for that lmao
  • Sweet, welcome to the club. Good luck finding that damn manual though. I traded up the nose to get one.
  • Very nice Kev! I'll get one...eventually. I'm most likely going to have to take the Joseph route and trade up the nose for one also because I can't touch my savings for the next year

Up the nose will unfortunately be the way to go for the manual. But, I'm good for now, having a CB of a game is better than a CI.

TBH though I know where a loose manual is right now. It's not for sale, the store owner is waiting for a boxed copy to get traded in.

You should get a friend to trade in your copy and then go in and buy it

  • What did the last CIB copy go for?

Once he gets a CIB copy, he said he'd sell it for around $1500 unfortunately.

A Cartridge with instructions went for $777 auction style last month. A bit earlier then that there was a CIB copy that sold for a $1200 BIN. Very high, but in todays market those might seem like bargins months from now.
  • I saw a really nice CIB sell for $2000 about a month ago as well. That $1200 buy it now sold in like an hour.

Think that copy sold for $1700 or $1750 and that was several months ago.  The $1200 buy it now was also bought by the exact seller of the $1700 copy... food for thought.

Edit:  Unless your are referencing a new $2000 sale that happened in December, that would mean the $1200 copy was flipped at $2000.
  • I was referencing a sale in December. The 11th I believe. And it did in fact appear to be the same as the $1200 one. I can't get this link to work but it may have to do with me being on my phone. I will see about posting the link when I get home.
  • I had a $1650 offer on mine like 5 months ago. Just wondering where it stands.
  • I am pretty angered by my actions some years ago when I decided to sell my 64 lot. Had a sculptors cut, mario party 1, 2, 3, worms armageddon, and some other rare titles. Didn't think the market of 64 would boom a few years later. That box looks pretty sexy.
  • congratz. very nice price too. and good luck getting a manual
  • Congrats! Nice score! Finding a manual will be the fun part
  • Sweet find man.
