This worked out pretty well

If you add up the cost I've spent on the cartridge, the box, and all other misc things, I've paid a total of $270 for this boxed copy of Sculptor's Cut.
I think $270 for a boxed copy is pretty good considering a few SC boxes have just recently sold for $345, $355, and $371 in the NA auctions.

Up the nose will unfortunately be the way to go for the manual. But, I'm good for now, having a CB of a game is better than a CI.
TBH though I know where a loose manual is right now. It's not for sale, the store owner is waiting for a boxed copy to get traded in.

You should get a friend to trade in your copy and then go in and buy it

Once he gets a CIB copy, he said he'd sell it for around $1500 unfortunately.

What did the last CIB copy go for?
A Cartridge with instructions went for $777 auction style last month. A bit earlier then that there was a CIB copy that sold for a $1200 BIN. Very high, but in todays market those might seem like bargins months from now.

I saw a really nice CIB sell for $2000 about a month ago as well. That $1200 buy it now sold in like an hour.
Think that copy sold for $1700 or $1750 and that was several months ago. The $1200 buy it now was also bought by the exact seller of the $1700 copy... food for thought.
Edit: Unless your are referencing a new $2000 sale that happened in December, that would mean the $1200 copy was flipped at $2000.
