If the seller plans on selling a lot of stuff soon, this is not a good way to start. Good way to make your whole target market super pissed at you VERY quickly. I bet the seller has gotten a TON of emails and messages so he may crack and honor the deal.

I dunno, whoever the person is who contacted the seller, it's his place to 'fess up to everyone if he wants to. I respect the decision by those who know who it is to leave it up to him.
I think he definitely owes Ant an apology, though, either way.
ok let me get this straight. lol i jumped in on the conversation without fulling reading or understanding it. so Ant bought the SE at the once BIN price of 4,000 then he pays and the guy who had the auction decided to relist the item as a bid auction. did he refund Ant? tell me if i got that right. and who is Ant?

Antofarabia, and no he wasn't refunded, he was screwed from serious douchebaggery! And someone tipped off the seller to encourage him to relist.
I don't think he had paid yet....I think Ant may be on the phone with the guy as we speak. I just sent him a nice message on ebay though. This is total crap....sucks Ant got BURNT!
Unfortunately, I don't see a good ending for Ant on this one... I don't blame Frisbee for starting this thread but any auction with a stadium events or NWC should NEVER be posted if it's a steal of a BIN. Even if it hasn't sold yet imo. I only say that because it leads to this kind of drama... If the seller has any integrity he will honor the deal but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I have not made any deals here on the forums as of yet. Why you may say? Because Im a grad student who is about to move in august to a differnt state for my PhD, and I dont have all that much money(not even close to the 4k that Ant spent for this SE). But when I do establish myself in my new residence with a new job and get situated I would like to know I can come here and trade with people who keep their words. The Dutchboy incident raised doubts but we know who this is and now I can choose to deal with him or not. This asshole NEEDS to be named for the sake of the community! so that we can make our own judgements whether or not to deal with them. Dain, you say you know who this is and you would not deal with him. I believe that you should grant us, the community, the same courtesy in making that decision for ourselves.
