Cragislist Finds

Here are some screens I captured of some great finds over the months of looking through craiglist (unfortunatly these are old posts and since then I have had to sold these games to pay for college expenses sorry.

This is the #1 find out of all of em for $10 each you can own Action 52, Bubble bath babes, caltron 6 in 1 Little sampson Peek a boo polker, Aero fighters, dracula x, Even wild Guns. What a Deal!

Always wanted Earhbound on snes where here is your chance for $5, plus some other great hits such as super metroid, mario allstars, and even zombies ate my neighbors.

Not as great as the previous ones, but $50 for earthbound is still really good!

The last image is hard to tell why it good but basically she sells the games at most for 20$ and If you closely look at the snes games there is Megaman X3(~$100) and behind it Lufia 2(~$70). I highlighted the games in the pic so you can recognize where the games are, the poster did not mark the games.

  • Hmmmm........
  • WTB a magnifying glass

Not everything on Craigslist is true... so until you bought those items at that price or less its just a random CL post.
  • Every pic but the 2nd image (was too slow) was real as i have bought the games off these guys.
  • Those were probably scams. Especially the first one, no one would sell all those games for that price. I doubt a normal person who is not a collector would own all of them.

EDIT: didn't realise that you had bought them, whenever anyone over here has stuff like that listed, the images are either fakes or they lie and say they don't work or gave them to someone else.

I think I speak for many people when I say, we're going to see pictures of these games in your possession before believing that. Sorry, but with deals that amazing, it usually takes pictures to believe it.

  • Photos, this is the one time I deem it necessary! Epic purchase if true! Oh and user name and date on a piece of paper next to the games to.solitify ownership!

    Cool!
  • Why would you post pictures of a CL ad instead of the actual games?
  • Some people put up fake Craigslist posts, and these seem fake to me. With the first one a seller that doesn't know what he/she has wouldn't know the difference between regular and Tengen Tetris and probably wouldn't call Caltron 6 in 1 by it's entire name, with the second one why would they list EarthBound first like they know what it is and then sell it for $5, and with the forth one why would the seller highlight each valuable game in the lot. Lastly how the hell could you have seen those in the first place? On the last three pictures it shows you arn't even connected to the internet. I'm not trying to sound like a asshole, but I'm really skeptical of this. Please upload some pics.
  • I hate to be 'that guy' but pics or it didn't happen. I'd be beyond shocked anyone on craigslist would put panesians and the rest in the same post for that price. I mean the kingdom of ignoramuses would have found their new ruler for life. These are so bait car type posts where they reel in the collectors and find out what kind of competition they feel they'll have to put up with. Probably log names, numbers and emails so they can ignore you later when they post the real stuff or hit you for full value.
  • I call massive bullshit on that first one until pics are posted. The dead giveaway there is that no one who's not a collector is going to refer to Tengen Tetris as Tengen Tetris, they'll just call it Tetris.
  • Just read the update you edited in OP. Do you remember how much you sold them for? I'd love to see the condition of these games, and if you name the prices me and everyone else can see the condition threw ebay completed listings.
  • hahahahahahahahahaha

    yeah..........
  • Aaaand he's offline and we'll probably never see him again
  • Someone should just call the number in the picture and see if they actually had those games.
  • What's the point of fake posts in Finder's Keepers? Like, are we all supposed to go "Holy crap, what a deal! You're our new god!" or something? What's the benefit for the poster?
  • Agreed, calling it "Tengen Tetris" and "Caltron 6 in 1" is a dead give away for a fake posting. No would call those by their publisher name if they had no clue what it was.  Also it's super convenient that you "sold them" already.
  • Also, look at the captions under the first two screen shots. "You can own," "Here is your chance," almost like he/she is trying to sell the games to us now.
  • I am surprised they don't also have SE in the first posting. It would of been better if it stated other common NES games as well. No one would only have those games in their collection.

the OP is a big liar, saying that they "had to sold" the games for college. How come there wasn't heaps of those games listed on ebay.
  • Also keep in mind he took screenshots of the computer, but couldn't take pictures of the actual games in his hand before he "had to sold" them.
  • Something very fishy about this....
  • I bought DreamTR's collection on Craigslist last week for $60, it was a good deal.
  • Dain actually sold me NA via Craigslist for 3 bucks, a bus token, and 2 tickets to the zoo. Anyone have any requests?

No pics though, I went to get my camera but I needed money and I had to sold it.
  • i'm locking this as its an obvious troll post.
