Help identifying an eBay buyer

I'm sure it's a buying account for a major reseller but I'm curious as to which.

nfsbuying is the account name.  They keep buying higher end, quick sale carts like mario kart 64 and super smash bros.  But not for cheap.  I just don't see how there's any meat on the bone for them.

  • That is strange. I could understand manipulating the market on rare titles with small sales numbers. But for popular titles and million sellers its impossible
  • They probably own a B&M store and are reselling it there.
  • I have a friend who sells on ebay, and he is able to buy BINs and re-sell them. He has really high prices, but his stuff keeps selling. An example is he has been putting Mario Kart 64 in 1 auction with Diddy Kong Racing, and selling them together, and they have been selling for close to $50, and he has sold 10 of those bundles so far.
  • They buy stuf from me all the time. . Cpuld be one of those places that buys international buyers merchandise and ships it to them
  • nintendosforsale.com

Buys from me all the time.

Look at his prices and youll see where the meat is.
  • Oddly enough nintendosforsale.com sometimes has some well below market prices on some things.
  • Most of the time during xmas the buying account is using us (sellers) as a drop shipper for a sale of theirs. Otherwise they ship directly to their warehouse. they used to buy commons for $2 each as well. I sold them about 300 of them.
  • Jesus those are nightmare prices

Wow, now I see!  I should just sell to them directly 100% of the time lol.

They buy directly and they pay well for quick flip type items.
  • I had someone recently snatch up some loose copies of Smash Melee I had. Their name "nfsbuying" seemed odd so after a google search I ended up in this thread, so I thought I'd revive it.

Seems like they are still at it. They paid $54 + shipping for loose copies, and I had it at "make an offer". They didn't even bother to make an offer, and even payed for shipping on each copy.

    They are reselling for $90!

I'm probably being naive and stating something that's obvious, but I can't help but wonder if people like them are inadvertently driving up prices on popular games like this.
  • Who pays these prices on their sites?
  • Wow, old thread. They bought something of mine just the other day.

I'm curious as to what they were paying for Mario Kart 64 and others when this thread was posted. Or are they still high prices for today?
