Thrift Store Gamecube

Got a black GC and GB player for 11 dollars at the local thrift store.  Unfortunately, no disc : - (  



What is the going rate for cubes these days?  One controller, AV, AC brick.

    Probably $20-$30 with all cords and controller.

    I think one of my buddies has an extra gameboy player disk if you want me to ask him about it.

    Just spoke with a Nintendo rep. They previously had replacement discs for 15, but are out currently. What is the going rate for discs?

    $30-ish on ebay.

    Yea, the discs are the more expensive end of the two part GBA player

    Sold a disc on ebay for $35 shipped within the last month and a half.

    The cube in good shape is a solid $20, a little more if it has the removed digital out. The GB Player disc is worth upwards of $30, and the player is another $10. Without that disc you're kind of hosed losing any savings.

    Cubes in my area go for $10 a piece w/o cords. What is removed digital out anyways? Never heard of it personally/

    I've sold a bunch of the GBA players when game stop had them for 10 bucks I love it and I wish there was a Repro GBA Player Disc

    The original couple years the GC was out it came with the multi-av out plus a digital out, it was the special port for the gamecube component cable and they removed it to cut costs as the life of the GC went along. People who have the cable or are willing to pop for it will pay more for an original cube that has that port.

    I saw a GB player start up disc a while back at a pawn shop for $11. Maybe I should have gotten it.

    Oh ok thanks, I looked it up shortly after I asked. Looks like I got three of them and two without the port, never thought much of it really tbh.
