Picked up a original model Playstation today for 8 dollars.  After reading a few articles on how the CD player in the system was capable of very high quality audio, figured it was worth a shot.  System came with FF VIII (disc 3) only, i assume getting the rest without the whole game is impossible.  



If anyone has any deals on PSX games, let me know.

    i was happy to just find a nice black label FF8 and FFT at the goodwill, 3 bucks each, though i was a little disappointed i thought they went for more. still a nice find

    is it the model 1001? those are high audio quality ones. If it doesnt have RCA 3 spots on the back its just a plain original.

    No offense, but I can't stand seeing a Ps1 being refered to as a PSX.

    We know, or atleast i do, but psx is used for ps1 all the time. Just get used to it.

    Magazines back in the mid 90s loved to call the original PlayStation the PSX. I think it was a work in progress name at the time and it stuck around.
