i was wondering the same thing tho, curious what the big shots will reply to this (my collection closing in to 1k euro value, so not that high yet)
If you try to get off cheap you can easily wind up being very, very screwed. And find out you've been paying into thinking you were safe, when in fact you were ill-covered. This goes for any sort of homeowner's insurance.
I have insurance on my games and console:
Its called a 110 Pound Doberman........

Your dog is a firefighter?
Does anyone have any other opinions/comments about this?
For instance, I have a saxophone that would cost about $4k to replace. If I want that covered up to that amount, I have to pay an extra $20/year, or so. Otherwise they would only reimburse a few hundred dollars.
This would also apply to collectors items such as video games, coins, or anything of that ilk.
^Wow. I dont think I know anyone in my general area who even owns one gun. When I lived with my dad we had a pellet gun if that counts
We're in America. Lots of people have guns.

I thought Canadians were as gun crazy as us. Well, at least about having them, not with the whole shooting eachother thing.

Didn't know that. I guess living up there would require a shotgun or rifle to defend against the beasts of the tundra
Most places where they don't shoot each other, they stab each other instead.
