Cool little item, I actually got it off of here in an NA auction awhile ago.  It's from 1989, nice year for the NES.  I remember seeing these in Scholastic book ordering catalogs.  I don't have any use for it, unfortunately, though I read like one book every two days.  Front has some slight curling of the plastic overlay sheet (look at the top), and the back has some slight discoloration from being in books, otherwise awesome with its original yarn tail.  I believe the discoloration on the back would be easy to remove, it's kind of like what you'd see from newsprint, so I believe you could remove it.  I think the starting bid is fair, and we'll keep the bids low to make it more fun.  Shipping should only be around $3 max for first class, but priority would be around $4.95 or so, just to give you an idea.  We can calculate that after the auction.

    Hah! I have one of these! I cannot for the life of my remember where mine is, but I think the yarn tail might be a different color - pink/purple-red.
