  • Any auction I go after, I always snipe manually. With the speed at which I can scroll through pages, click on links, and type in bids, I can have a bid placed in only about 2 seconds or so. However, my bid usually pops in at 25-28 seconds remaining, which gives me plenty of time to react if I should face competition in the last few seconds.

Btw...I guess this makes my $125 purchase a month or two ago look that much better, eh image ?
  • I always snipe manually too. Sure, I've missed some stuff because I forget about the auction or am just not around when it ends but at this point in my collecting I'm not going after anything that won't pop back up in the near future anyways. I enjoy the last minute of an auction that I really want. When your heart starts beating a little harder because you know where your top bid is and it's just a matter of hitting refresh to see what bids come in before I can throw mine down in the last few seconds. Using a sniping service is just like buying something in a store... I enjoy watching it all go down.
