Just when I thought I had them all a new Soccer Variant!

Just got my hands on a 4th confirmed Black Box USA Soccer Variant.  From my master list here are the 4 variants I have. The pic of all my different Worldly Soccer Sealed & CIB's is just to tease Robin!

  • Holy Soccer balls!
  • Much love Erik and to all hardcore variant collectors!
  • In the picture which one is the new one? and In the listing too
  • you are missing the big box pal cover version, I am a little disappointed now
  • You guys blow my mind with niche' collections like this; I don't think I could ever keep my focus or motivation strong for long enough to collect all the variants for a single game!

    Bravo my friend, bravo.
  • Nice Sexy!
  • I was gonna ask you about that when I saw it. I put a couple bids on one, not sure if it's the same one you got though.  It's the third one on the list. Back code with no TM on the front, right? Looks like I missed my chance. There were two of them on eBay at the same time. Looks like the recent wave of Soccer boxes is over too
  • What's next, Famicom cart and disk versions?
  • Actually I do have 3 different Euro versions not pictured in the mail coming across the pond to me at the moment!
  • Upper 3rd from the right is sunfaded. = meh
  • Thankfully that is a double not a collection copy. ;-)
  • Whoo! Awesome stuff dude. I can't believe how dedicated you are to this set.
  • Congrats! Now we just need to find the elusive 3-screw Soccer cart......
  • Thanks for sharing Erik!
  • Sweet pic, where is the box on the bottom left from? Artwork and total box design looks sweet.
  • ^Europes version of the Classics Series.

    Ditto! I love these threads

Thanks for sharing Erik.  In case you don't have it on your list yet, there's also a German NOE release of the Classic Serie Soccer, with Europa-Version on the box.
  • Man I would pay Money like a museum to go see and study Erik's collection. Congrats on another find dude.

    Agreed...

I live on the other side of the state, and would love to take a walk through that museum if it happened...lol

Quick side note, Erik won my very first eBay auction 6 years ago... Thanks again Erik !!!  Lightning fast payment ...lol
  • Woot, just got the package I was waiting for.  I now believe I have all of the SPAIN variants for Soccer.  Interesting that they have 4 in Spain.  On the two normal size boxes the first is ESP code box/book.  The 2nd is ESP-1 coded box/book.

  • I was in a store yesterday and notice a Nes Black Box Soccer with a 1989 release date and the top left of the box had the "BanDai" red square logo. Is that a rare variant? I can't find any pictures online or this. I might run back and buy it on a gamble
  • Well done.

It's not very common no.  Here's a picture of my Sticker Sealed NEW copy of what you are talking about.  I got it long long ago from a seller in Holland.  Depends on what they wanted for it and the condition it was in.  Keep in mind that the big collection craze for NES is mostly for USA copies of stuff, but there are people out there who certainly collect Pal, CAN, etc. like me.

  • Why you foolin around at that soccer game?
  • It's good to see Braveheart posting again.

Did you/anyone ever find a 3 screw USA Soccer cart?
  • I would really like to see more of these threads with other games.
  • Thank you so much for the help!!! One interesting difference. The box I saw was in English. So I'm assuming it's Canadaian maybe?? The box was in ok condition, and they were selling it for 110$. Your collection is insane!
