I've got a few other projects I Was working on. The other free manuals I released, someone did print them and sell them.... so it kind of hurt this idea.
Really, are you surprised that someone did that? In this day and age people just assume that if they can find it online, it's "free and clear" for them to do whatever they want with it. In the end it really hurts the minority of people out there who would legit treat these sorts of things with respect in regards to the person who took the time originally to even get them done in the first place (that person being you).
Having gotten manuals translated now for the past year or so, I can tell you it's not a cheap thing (and I did end up getting the Star Ocean manual translated that's now on Uncle Tusks site and was in the Timewalk release lol)... so you doing it for free like you did was a cool move.
Hey do you guys know what font that is for the capcom manual, by chance?
I'm referring to the page 2 font starting with "a special message..." on the pic that vlad posted earlier. I remember seeing that font on all sorts of old manuals.
I ask because I've done a few manual restoration/translation implimentation projects. I didnt do the actual translation, just the cleanup and entry portion lol.
Heres a side by side of one fo the pages i did for megami tensei for famicom.

I wouldn't even minded it if the watermark was more pronounced. Be proud of your work.
