Who knows what about Atari Computers

Long story short, a few months ago a guy I play Volleyball on base with said his dad wanted his old Atari stuff out of his garage. It was all goign to the landfill if I didn't take it...so I said sure why not, free is always good...

Comments

  • dibs. stay away dave.
  • Score. I have no idea what the stuff is worth, but I bet its at least a few hundred.
  • Figure $40-60 for each computer.
  • List and Photo's updated for those interested!
  • I know nothing about any of that aside from that "Leather Goddesses of Phobos" has to be a game worth playing
  • I need a 1200xl it is the last Atari 8bit machine I need to complete my set.
  • i put my 800 xl and 1050 up on ebay today along with my 7800. its insaine how many people have already wanted to buy it. idk hpow rare this stuff is but if you part it all out you should make some good money
  • UPDATE!!

I got a phone call from my friend last week. He told me his dad had some more stuff he wanted out of the house. Of course I could ablidge him. "Mostly game carts" he told me, and I got super excited.

Nothing super rare but still a nice couple boxes of 2600/400 carts, lots of paperwork,  a couple more drives and a XE system with add on keyboard.

Why couldn't his dad be a Nintendo fanboy?

O'well, Time to start testing them all out.

  • Has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.... Very nice...
  • This is so amazing dude. Free stuff is always nice but so much at one shot is insane. I'm not an Atari expert but from the looks you snagged some very sweet stuff
