in Help Wanted!
So I am e-mailing a guy back and forth about some NES item and he sent me some pictures. Can you guys give me your opinion on whether the nes in the x-box 360 box is a top loader or not? Thanks..

    I think it is a Top Loader with the front towards the back of the box, who knows though?

    Turn the picture 180 degrees. I think we are all correct. I think it is a Top Loader with a Zapper across the top and the controller ports are covered. Look at the red and gray button position and the midline shadow the Top Loader would have from the shell contours. The red power button even looks to be in the lower "OFF" position.

    I thought zapper too, although no mention of a zapper in his list of items included in the lot, I would ask the guy but I don't want to say "hey is that a top loading nes" hmmm verdict is still out I guess.

    4 controllers and not one is a dogbone. Not a good chance of there being a toploader i'd say.

    If that is not a Top Loader I will split your losses you have from this. Look at the picture turned 180 degrees, there is a definate curve to the top, the colors are consistent with the buttons, the shadow line down the middle is consistent, what more do you need?

    ^ I thought of the no dog bone controller theory too. It is a valid point. I don't own a top loader and have no idea if regular controllers work with a top loader or not. Well i'm sending him my offer and see if he accepts.

    Regular controllers will work on a Top Loader. When you get it and realize you have a Top Loader for a Toaster price or less you can send me a thank you PM.

    If it was a Toaster with the door facing to the left, there would be a black section where the red area meets the white area. If it was a Toaster with the door facing to the right, the back of the hinge (dark shadow) would be farther to the right. Look at the controller for some scale.

    My vote is on Box. To me, it doesnt look like a toploader. Plus, after Mogs recreation it kinda seals the deal.

    I'm going to re create this pic with a Zapper on top of a toaster and see what it looks like. Not just a Zapper in a box.

    There are 2 systems in the lot he listed for me so I know there is a nes in the x-box box.

    It's a Zapper with the red trigger and you can see the aiming sights on the barrel against the green cardboard.At least the games aren't garbage though and you can flip them and cop a Top Loader..

    The dog bone theory is invalid. I have bought two top loaders from CL and neither came with dog bones.



    My guess is toaster, but I hope you gte a top loader if that's what you want out of it!

    I kept looking at that and I knew something didn't look right and I finally figured it out. Look at Mog's picture, see anything missing?

    Screw holes.
