The best way to protect/consult manuals
What would be the best way to keep / protect / class / consult the manuals. I'm a coin collector as well and the first thought I have is some kind of plastic protector split in two for bills... what are your thoughts? Have you a good/the best system?
My manual collection will thank you!
A) I don't want to keep the manuals with the games
I'm not a CIB collector
C) I hate big plastic boxes for manuals since it bends the corners
I'll gladly read your comments

Just take one manual, put another on top of it in the reverse direction.

Ill have to take some. Built them last summer as I have a ton of loose boxes and manuals and needed to organize them.

This is a great thread because Im actually about to get two manuals that I want to keep separate from everything, other manuals and the game. Id honestly like to display them because they are signed. I was also thinking a slip holder but I couldnt find anything with the correct dimensions. If anyone knows of anything that would hold a PS2 manual, Id be grateful.
A few years back while working at a surplus outlet of sorts, I came upon little binders that held about 15 sleeves for PS2 or Xbox disks. They had the black disk friendly cloth like spot for disks on the reverse side, and a clear pouch in front for the manual. I believe they were made by a knock-off company like Intek or the like. May not be the best option, but it would be cheap if you could find one on flea bay or the like...
*Edit*
I could most likely send you a couple if you'd want, it'd be no more than sending a letter, but I imagine there are easier ways to get em. PM me if you find yourself out of options.

I understand what youre talking about, I believe Ive seen them before. As those might not be the best option for me you did give me a great idea. I could just use some of the super clear DVD cases and turn the manual facing like the cover art would be. It would be inside the case where the manual ususally goes so it would be less likely to be damaged. I could even use a think carboard backing so the manual does start to fold backwards or something. Thanks for the idea.
As for the OP, I as well have a STACK of NES manuals that I dont have (and probably wont get) boxes for. Im going to scoure hobby stores looking for binders (ie baseball card holders) that will fit them. I think it would be the most organized way to go about it. The inserts are typically cheap and binders and like a buck or two at Office Depot (esp at back to school times)
Yet It is not convincing as I wish to be able to take any one without moving all a page/box/order. I'm a money collector too and I thought about paper money collector holders. It's acid free and great for binders, though the size of the pockets is too small in height. Do you know any other collections (?postal cards size?) that would use those kind of collector tools?
For those who think it seems to be weird, I'll give you the Tengen example: same title, two manuals per titles and/or multiples of the same rare title manual, wouldn't you order it and preserve it in some way? Other example: the special cards in Dragon warrior 1 or the different maps in Zelda let's say... I'm looking for a visual cue of what I have without the bending/aging process. Do not forget that all my playable games (most of my stuff) are used by noobs that don't know what's worth a manual/game. I just won't take the chance with the manuals to put them with the game.
Thanks anyway, the more suggestions we have, the better chances we have to come to a solution.

But then went on a better search for something since those only hold 2 per page. I found these that hold 3. They are for 4x6 cards which would be the best for our manuals due to the thickness of the manual would take up some of the length/width.

Readily available on eBay for as cheap as 25c per page (for a 50 pack). Ill probably get me some of these here soon so I can go ahead and organize what I have.
