Hiding topics

I think it would be nice to have an option to hide a thread. This would be especially useful in the buy/sell section. I check it often and feel it's always cluttered with stuff I'm not interested in or sellers I don't want to deal with. Not saying there's anything wrong with bumping your stuff all the time but it would be nice to hide a lot of the WTB topics and stuff I am completely uninterested in. Anyone else feel this way?

    it can be a good idea, but what happens if one of the posts you hid gets updated with stuff you are interested in and you miss out since you dont see it?

    i still think the WTB & FS thread should be divided into 2 sections. this would ease alot the search.

    I didn't think about that. I third the motion. That should save a lot time. 



    But what about the sellers that you have no desire to deal with? The guys with links to their ebay page and items that you have no interest in? I know it's not too big of a deal, but it is a little frustrating digging through pages of stuff to find anything remotely interesting. A little checkbox to hide their topic would make me a very happy man.

    Evil Overlord thinks this might be a decent idea, but hiding threads probably won't happen, because you can always Foe someone and not see their posts/threads.

    Thanks for the suggestion guys. I had no idea what foeing was. I don't dislike anyone on the forum, I would just rather not see some threads in the Buy/sell section.

    I was going to mention this same thing. I'd like to hide certain entire topics when looking at Latest Topics. Maybe we could select the topics we wish to hide in Forum Settings like we would the topics we want to receive e-mail updates for?
