Mr Gimmick RetroZone Repro is kicking my @$$

This game is super slick and overall awesome, but I can't seem to get very far without it kicking my @$$. I was wondering if anybody has Game Genie codes that will work for the Mr Gimmick RetroZone Repro (infinite lives or health would be nice), or anyone know of any built in cheats such as button combos that I can use?



Any help would be appreciated. I really want to experience the entirity this game. Thanks.

    The place where the game gets really hard is Stage 5, specifically the boss. You're not going to be good at this game on your first try, so keep playing it. Don't forget to farm for points, as you might rack up around 10 lives by the time you reach stage 5. If you get a game over on stage 2 or higher, just restart, as you won't get the good ending.

    Just keep at it, it took me a few days to beat, but it was great! I actually ended up beating the game again, because the first time I beat it, I missed the ending sequence because I was trying to find a camera! Anyway, Great game!

    Yeah, definitely just keep at it. Learn which weapons are useful to pick up, and where to get extra health. Look up a playthrough on youtube if you need more help.



    100% is the real challenge, done it a few times myself. Very fun!

    I bought this game months ago and I play it every day. And to tell you the truth you just get better and better at it. IT GET MORE REWARDING when YOU start kicking this things ass. I can beat it but I have still yet to get the "real" ending. When you get all the treasures and no continuing. That is where the real challenge comes in. If you really want to cheat you can use *some* of the Pal and NTSC-J codes but a few will lock it up. Just do it for real the way it was meant to be played and you will be TONS happier in the end.

    The codes for both the EU and JAP releases seem to work fine, but if I use an infinite lives code in level 2 and die, the game crashes. Anyways, thanks a million, folks! Next time I need to ask about Game Genie codes, I'll use the "My Game Genie Codes" thread. I've also got a handfull of custom Super Mario Brothers Codes I've never shared, so that would be a great placeto do that.
