I haven't played a ton of SNES games, but of the ones I've played, this is my favorite by far. The boss music is exactly the same for every single boss up until this point, and this fast-paced track comes out of nowhere. Makes boss battle that much more intense.

Mystic Quest boss music as posted above, as well as the last boss music, which I probably prefer. I can't get a link right now though (time limited Internet), so someone else will have to. It's the Dark King music.

SMRPG's boss battle themes. They're all great. (Except that I never reached Smithy on my Wii, so I can't vouch for it)
