Same game different console
I was looking the other day as I purchaced NHL 94 for SNES hoping to relive some Canucks Rangers action only to discover that NHL 94 uses 93 rosters
I own NHL 95 for Genesis yet I'm not a big Genesis person so i thought i migth look into it for SNES so i hopped on my computer and downloaded a rom of it to check out before i go on a hunt...
The game is Very different, I found for instance when i was making a player in the SNES version the points seemed to go in 5's and be very round numbers as apposed to the genesis which went by ones...
Have you ever had this before where a game almost seemed like 2 different games depending on which console you had it for?
And i don't mean things that were deliberate like the Soul Calibur Character swaps, Link, Spawn, Hihachi Etc.

I heard the best one to get is NHL 10, if you are going to get a current-gen hockey title.
Another big difference game between the Genny and SNES, is Beavis and Butthead.
Hardware was so varied. Now they're all pretty much the same. (Except the Wii this generation...)
