NES\SNES\GB\GBC etc screws

I'm in the process of adding CR battery holders to all my battery-needing carts and was wanting to replace all the security screws with phillips head screws, does anybody know where to buy the exact size I would need in bulk? Internet searches aren't pulling up much. They are the same size across all nintendo cards right?



I tried some from Lowes that looked like the right size but ended up ruining the cart. Probably should have started with a crappy game instead of Conker but oh well.

    Dude that's harsh you ruined a valuable cartridge. For authenticity and ease I would just recommend buying yourself a $2.00 security bit for Nintendo games. Why replace something that works great and fits perfectly? If you pick up a bit just pick up the correct kind. Go to eBay and get a silver one. Don't buy a black bit or one of the curved ones with yarn crap on the end. Those both suck. Good Luck!

    That's sort of why I want to change them out, all the bits I've ever used have been crap. I've must have tried five different sellers and they all wear down quickly.

    ive been using the same one for 3 years and its still perfect. Like OCD said, make sure its silver not black.

    I don't see any silver ones on ebay right now. Either that or I'm not looking at the right thing.

    just google 3.8mm gamebit and find a retailer that sells them.

    Darn, they are sold out of the size I need. Luckily I got enough of the crappy ones to last me. It's not a bad deal though, you can get both sizes and 5 batteries for 20 bucks. Good on batteries though.
