Lucky pickup today
So a few weeks ago I saw a rare CL post for NES games that hadn't already been swooped up by a reseller. Went to the guys house to buy the lot (40 games + system), and as we're talking he asks if I'd be interested in any other video game stuff.
So I say, sure what have you got? He says he's got some modded xboxes (meh) and then opens a drawer and pulls out... a TG-16, a Turbo Express with tv tuner, 16 games (lots of goodies), two Atari Lynx systems (both versions) and a bunch of Lynx games, and an original gameboy with ~20 games.
Needless to say I left with everything.
Well today he texts me saying he found a bunch more stuff in his storage unit and would I be interested. $50 got me:
Genesis games:
Alien Storm
Arch Rivals
Greendog the Beached Surfer Dude
Joe Montana Sports Talk Football II
Jurassic Park
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
NBA Jam
NBA Live '95
Quad Challenge
Sonic
Sonic II
Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Hidden Treasure
Toe Jam & Earl
Tow Jam & Earl Panic on Funkatron
Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition
Streets of Rage II
Plus a working Game Gear, game gear rechargable battery back, Sonic 1 and 2 and Indiana Jones for GG
Another TG-16 controller and two N64 controllers. Rare rare find for me, especially in and around Seattle

"Its a major award!!"
Is this a lot you won from Hit-Japan? I split a 200 lot Famicom package just before Christmas with my friend, I had no idea the sheer amount of work that went into splitting it up. There were a good deal of harder to find titles in the lot we won, but they were suseptible to faded labels and stickers being plastered on the cart that won't remove easily.
I lucked out on the free surface shipping, though. The lot was won before Christmas, and it took an entire month (minus a day) to arrive.
And yeah there are a LOT of dupe titles, but I am honestly pretty stunned with how many really good titles are in there (like all the Dragon Quests for instance).
As soon as I get everything logged, I'll be putting the dupes up in a for sale thread to pass on the savings to some other NA members.
The labeling alone lol. Sweet snag man! I'm jealous
Cherish Streets of Rage II, it's one of the best games of all time.
