Emotion buttons don't work

Have tried many different emotions in many threads and can't seem to get them to work when I use the box. The only one I can get to work is the regular smiley face when I actually type colon and ) back to back...like so

Anybody else have problems?

    Yeah Bronty and I noticed this in a pm. You have to type the code that shows up when you hover over the icon for it to show up. It's been this way since the reply boxes got the new look right?

    I think so, I have noticed it off and on since Dain redid the reply boxes...Will have to run through and see if it everybody or just a few or us..

    I can never get the emotion icons to show up in my posts when I reply. I think it adds a sense of mystery to what all I type up. "No smiley face icon? Are you serious or not?" Look at my face.



    Anyways, they no workie!
