I was about to bid on a sealed copy of Little Big Adventure 2 (Not worth a great deal but it would have been to me since it's my favourite game series ever) when eBay logged me out just as I was about to snipe . I was gutted. It only when for the equivalent of about $20 too! Now I always log out and back in again a few minutes before I'm about to bid so it doesn't log me out automatically again.
Pokemonbox (brand new)... which I'm guessing means sealed? Anyways, I emailed the seller asking if the Pokemonbox was complete and if she wanted to do a BIN option. She had it at $74 and she changed it to $94 BIN. By the time I saw what she had did, someone else jumped on it. They got my BIN and I got a sore ass. Oh well... If someone here got it I'm happy for you. If the Pokemon box was complete and sealed I'm guess it could be worth $300 plus easy. It's one that will only go up in price. Plus you get the other Pokemon games as a added bonus. Dang it anyways....
^^^ Sucks about the pokemon box. I only have the CIB, not the outer cardboard, etc..
For my losers weepers, I went to a goodwill near work. They had about 8 DS games for $5. All of them were missing the games inside. Mario vs Donkey Kong was one of them, and I know my kids would have liked that one.

That was me and the Pokemon box is already at VGA. However, it was just sealed in DVD-case, no outer box included. I also saw it when listed, and you notice the counter is only at 3 page views. So we're two of the three who actually read the listing.
As far as my guess on condition, no tears in the seal and just minimal scuffing on the wrap, maybe 85+. Like I said though, no outer box / link cable included so it's not the steal of the century or anything.
Well, I was tasked with helping my dad haul some stuff to the dump. started throwing bags into the transfer station and noticed some of my dust sleeves were in the trailer... then one of my zappers..., then an RF cable for my NES... and last my Nintendo accessories box. Apparently one of my little brothers decided to go get into on of my boxes of stuff I had put away and never put it back so my mom told my little brothers to just start throwing things away. Of course I salvaged them and then had to sanitize it. but it really irked me that they would just throw things away without asking if it's ok. I'm just worried that more of my stuff was in the trash that I didn't catch. i have a feeling that my other 2 Zappers were in there as I can't find them at the moment.
Saw a listing on Craigslist this morning for a guy with a table at a flea market that had over 200 Gamecube and PS1 games from 8-2 today. I had to work for my Dad at 8:30 and open his store but I figured if I woke up up really early, I could get there a couple minutes early and scope it out before driving a half hour back to my Dad's store (which is already a 15 minute drive from my house). So I drive way out of my way to this thing and end up waiting till 8:15 and the guy is a no show. Saturday is normally my one day to sleep in so that just kinda added to me being grumpy today.

**I'm shaking my fist at you....
I kid though, I thought it was a huge long shot for her to put a BIN on it... and no suprise that when she did it went fast. I'm glad a NA'er got it though.
Had my first loss today. Found a N64 ad for $45 bucks today, just the amount I have in my wallet. Well, it had everything CIB, including Mario Party 2 and Goldeneye 007 and a few more high-priced titles. I need some cash, I was planning on reselling a few of the things, namely Goldeneye. And so I send a message to him 15 minutes after it's posted. I got a message back that it was sold and picked up.
Eff see you kay.
The ad was posted about 2 hours prior to this post.
I saw a just posted ad on my Craigslist today for a complete NES and 15 games for $20.00. The ad said send a text so I did and about 30 looonnnggg minutes later I get a return text that I had the wrong number. I hurried back to Craigslist to find the ad and it was already deleted. Shit.

Went out to the garage sales today and one opened at 7:30 and i got there around 7:40. I see some PS1 games and ask if they have any other old games, they then tell me they sold a nintendo 64 with over 15 games 5 minutes before. For 5 dollars. Couldn't get over it all morning
Saw this today, about a day late, so many flipers and collectors here, im not going to bother emailing, I know from this pain in my heart that its gone.

I bought a brand new VIP for GBC for the sole purpose of gutting it out for the cart tray. Turns out not all GBC titles had cart trays in them. Well now I got a CIB VIP if anyone is interested.
At least I got the chance to unwrap Pamela Anderson.
It's a lottery on to whom the seller responds to emails. I know when I list stuff (might be strange! but...) I look for the responses that actually say Hello as the first word, and then goes on about the inquiry followed by a name or number. Nothing is worse than someone doing one sentence asking if I would accept X amount of money.
I don't look at who responds first or anything like that.
All of this is provided the offers outlined are reasonable.
Had bid on a CIB of Kirby's Dreamland 3 for the SNES at 70 for the longest (Though the true bid was like in the high 80's) and got snipped in the final ten seconds. That one hurt quite a bit.
There was this one time I was at the thrift store and found a CIB copy of Majora's Mask with the gold cart for like 5 bucks. Passed on it because I thought N64 game values were garbage...and they kind of were back then (This was like 3-4 years back) but I doubt it would have been the case for that one.
Most of my losers weepers stories are mainly just getting sniped on ebay. At least now I just offer the absolute max I'll go so if it goes for higher, that's okay since it was more than I wanted to pay.
Saw an ad for a CD-i with a bunch of fairly pricey game on Craigslist the other day. The guy wanted $25 for everything. The problem was that I saw the ad a few hours to late, and calling yielded no positive results.
Things turned my way that day though. I ended up getting a bunch of Playstation stuff for cheap, and there were mint copies of Metal Gear Solid, Xenogears, Legend of Mana, FF IX, and others. Overall it was a pretty good day!
Had a deal in place for a big NES lot, with a mint CIB Panic Restaurant and miracle piano, but I had therapy and couldn't make it right away. Some guy came in and was a real slime ball, told the seller it was a common game, but offered a big price. FOr whatever reason it didn't register as strange with the seller, so I missed out on that.
Did get a Miracle Piano, and 6 games with a NES cleaning kit CIB for $30 so I did okay.
Was going to hit up a local flea market and a bunch of yard sales Saturday cause they were advertising a bunch of NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox games all for $1 each. Leave to get there an hour early, but not even a mile from my house the fuel pump on my car dies. Now instead of a bunch of games I have to spend money on my dumb ass car.
I remember a time I went into a pawn shop and was looking at their video game selection. It was a nice little selection of games and I asked if they had any gameboy games. The guy says yes and goes behind the counter and takes out an entire BASKET of gameboy games. Of which, half of them were Pokemon games. I do the hard blink and then immediately put on my game face, asking how much they were. He tells me they're all 2 dollars apiece, so I immediately start stacking all the Pokemon games. I hear the door open behind me and an employee walks in, the boss says "Your late" and he apologises. Five minutes later I'm at the cash register getting checked out and he comes from the back, takes one look at the games, and stops him from ringing me up. Needless to say, he said the price was all wrong for those and they were 15-20 apiece.
Really sucked, I was a minute away from getting out of there with a few hundred bucks in games for almost nothing. But, at the end of the day, I did get some pretty sweet N64 controllers for 4 apiece and some random games for half what I knew they were worth. Would have been an epic Poke-score though.

I just rage cried looking at this....
The other games are decent too I guess.
Hah, funny auction here. It seems fake for some reason but if not someone got a good deal.
