I happen to have Final Fantasy VII VIII IX platinum factory sealed.
I might just hold on to them untill they can fetch me some money for more games no idea what they would be worth right now though (if only they were black label *sigh*)

hmm.. yes and no. When i played it i once let the game touch the center ring in the Playstation. This left a tiny scuff on the center of the disc. Being a disc nazi, i now need to replace it. Had it been opened, the result would have been the same.. i would need to get another minty copy.. lol.. So, it sucks that a perfect copy costs that much.. but i am not sorry i opened it. Now i have a near mint copy to play and i will buy another copy sealed and tell myself it is for some future playthrough when the first disc no longer works.. lol
