SCPH-1100 Analog Flight Stick, PSP Go
    2x NES, SNES, PS/SNESCD controller (DTL-H500, codename MW.3), SCPH-1080 DTL PS1 controller

    SCPH-1080 PS1, SCPH-1150 Dual Analog "Proto-Shock", SCPH-1180 Dual Analog "Proto-Shock-less"
    SCPH-1200 DualShock 1, SCPH-10010 DualShock 2, CECHZC1U SIXAXIS, CECHZC2J DualShock 3

All I need now is a PS3 Boomerang controller

  • You might want to buy a different 'normal' PS3 controller as well, or is that white one different? I've had three of them. One six-axis only, and two dual shocks, one of which had a seperate piece between the R/L 1 and 2 buttons and steel pins holding the L/R 1.

I know this because I literally destroyed that steel pin controller . It hit a wall (by no fault of my own of course, unless you count throwing it), exploded all over my room, I lost the steel pins and the thing became useless. The new dual shock ones are better and way easier to assemble (don't ask, I take out all my anger on my controllers, one now needs duct tape).

What do you mean by different?
Those are just the official ones.
I have a lot of novelty controllers. Like, a world record amount of the

Was that the reason why I need another controller?
  • There are 2 different original dual shock 3s as far as I know. One with the metal pins and extra plastic between 1/2 and one without. They are official. You can tell the difference by that extra bit of plastic, or by taking them apart.
Assembling the steel pin controller is a pain, so I'm glad they changed that (it wasn't the only controller I ever needed to reassemble because of my controller rage).

    You have:
    - Dual Shock
    - Six Axis

    I had:
    - Dual Shock with steel pins
    - Dual Shock without steel pins
    (- Six Axis)

Since I thought you collected all the official ones I thought you might want to know that . I believe I've still got the broken controller laying around somewhere, so if you want I can check the serial number.

  • Well mines a japanese launch one (which is why I count it as a novelty controller) so its probably the first one

  • hey hun what can you tell me about this....

I agree, this is the ASCII pad. A very early pad released before the Sony Analog pad. They can be seen advertised in many an early PlayStation magazine
  • Only just noticed this topic, very nice SNES CD controller you have there. So glad that thing never came about or the Playstation as we know it would probably never have come into fruition.

Is that all the official Sony controllers in the second pic? I have a Japanese arcade stick that I'm pretty sure was official and some wireless PS1 Dual shocks too, or do you class those as third party since they were made by ASCII even though they are officially branded?

I too have a large collection of 3rd party controllers (no where near the size of yours), but mainly for the Sega Master System and Mega Drive. My rarest Sony controller is probably the Resiedent Evil pad, it's awful to use though . I have some very rare 3rd party korean controllers for the MD which I'm particularly proud of as well as some Samsung and Pioneer branded pads.

  • ASCII stuff would be third party licensed.

  • Anyone know if there was ever a working version of the silver boomerang controller from E3 2005's PS3. Was that the only show where the boomerang controller was seen? Was there only one prototype? Thanks!
